how is bo online baleneced, the assault rifles are more powerful then any other class, just like mw2, cod4 every class had like 2-3 good guns and the rest were shit, the shotguns snipers lmgs and smgs all suck

I love the Black Ops story but I have major problems with the ending. I think that the big twist came a tad too early and the final level is pretty anticlimactic (not that MW2 was any better). Also the story didn't wow me on the second playthrough like a great game should. Multiplayer isn't really my thing but I LOVED zombies.

@Jocks0113 A multiplaye game doesn't necessarily need to have teamwork to be good. Thats just a style, and COD is more solo style. That being said though, search and destroy and capture the flag require a fair amount of teamwork. Weapons do have spread and recoil, not sure what ur talkin about, and the camping isn't nearly as bad as it's been in past COD games. it's the first COD game since COD4 thats actually pretty well balanced, and the campaign was pretty damn cool. hence the 9/10

what do you make of the combat training mode? i think its a great tool for trying weapons, learning maps, and for less skills player it can be more enjoyable with friends.

It's a great game ill be playing untill i get mag or meadel of honer. However i found the multiplayer a bit t simaller to mw2. The wager matches i had to have a good think about trying but i woud like to play them without throwing my points into the killzone. But i useually win and the zombies is fun. The story was awsome but really short and some levels seemed pointless to play through then i just found myself just wanting to finish the story and stoped enjoying the rest of it. [8/10]

my only complaint about black ops multi player is the shotgun range if they were making the shotgun a primary again they should of got the range correct caz once again AR take the over used gun style mw2 did have some problems but the spaz 12 had the perfect range and make it fair for people using AR and i think that the sniper should be one shot kill when hitting the chest area now that quickscopes can barley be done

@gmoneyproductions25 I Think your review was too generous. There were'nt any major changes to the game that really stood out. it was too familiar. How you played the campaign was the same, run,trip wire,shoot, cutscene repeat. Multiplayer is great but still similar to mw2 or cod4. There is a flaw aswell connection. If you have a full bar connection and your against a 3 bar or 2 bar there is no skill involved full bar will win unless you suck. Host migration=Kick Host=Party Backout=Game ruined

@WastelandGaming Campaign wise, there were major changes. The way the story was told, the fact that they actually broke away from first person at times to get a better camera angle, the fact that the main character actually speaks. Campaign was a major step up. Multiplayer wise, yes, you could say all it really added was wager matches and theater mode, but I feel that it's much better they focus on balancing things rather than just adding a bunch of unbalanced features. I see your point though.

MW2 was given universal acclaim. Getting scores like 10s, 9.5s, and etc. Then Black Ops comes out. My favorite CoD game and arguably the best CoD game to come since CoD4. Yet the game receives high 8s and low 8s.

@gmoneyproductions25 Ha, Black Ops is awesome, personally, my favourite mode is Nazi Zombies. I mean, who doesn't love killing zombies that are Nazis?

However, my main gripe with Black Ops HAS to be the amount of Nazi Zombie maps. Really. THREE? (If using 3arc unlock easter egg) They should release the four Hardened Edition Call of Duty: World at War Zombie maps on the PSN Store.
