  • Excellent, informative and businesslike presentation - TY

  • @jacksbark Thanks brother...try my best! ;-)

  • Great setup. Have you ever done the same for slugs?

  • @Mossy500A Yes, it works great.

  • does it eventually make the shell too short to use? after roll crimping repeatedly? Would this work on brass shotshell?

  • @skswig1 No, I don#t think that it make the shell too short. Normaly you use a shell 3-4 times and then throw it away. This roll crimp work on plastic shells only.

  • Nice, what powder charge are you using? I just picked up a roll crimper and some clear over shot cards but I am having trouble finding load data for a roll crimped charge.

  • @sniper7369 Hi bro. I use 26.3 grs of Alliant Herco for my loads. If you would like to use this load data you do this at your own risk.

  • @sniper7369 you can use any data for a star crimp but just roll crimp with a over shot card

  • @camerl2009

    Thanks, appreciate that.

  • How do you know how far down to go? Does the inside of the roll crimper hit the shot?

  • @mdr8088 Yes the inside of the crimper stops at the shot...but normaly I use the deep control of my drill press to make sure the roll crimp has the same deep every time.

  • would that work for loading slugs

  • @CatFishinSouthernBoy Yes, you can use it for slugs too.
