  • OMG one of the wolves look like a black-backed-jackal. 0.0 I really love wolves I own a dog which is why I love canines <3

  • wolves are my fav animal:)

  • DAMMIT stop looking so much like dogs, i have this retarded urge to hug them XD

  • that timber wolf is a great example of why you cant tame a wild animal, they are beautiful though.

  • Nope CHUCK TESTA

  • its not a theory its fact that eastern coyotes are part wolf, see COYWOLF

  • That puma @4:28 is like "You dare film me huh?!" >:-(

  • if am walking alone in the woods i'd rather hear a lion's roar than that phuckin scary howl

  • @TheOutsider1p Heh, me to my friend :p

  • I came across a wolf in this one zoo, and he was sooooo cute and puppylike that I wanted to pet him!! He was wagging his tail and acting all happy and such :] If it weren't for those big teeth of theirs, and the fact that no matter how cute they are, they are wild animals, I might have attempted to get closer. These wolfies don't seem very happy, though.... Maybe they were just having a bad day, but I sure hope they aren't always like this :(

  • :( there whining 95% of the time

  • not true they would survive iv them do it its just where and how you do it

  • lol my dog started howling

  • cute

  • The lions ruined it...

  • I so agree with katattack2012. Beautiful animals but it makes me sad to see them caged like this. I can competely understand why they're howling

  • @jen8rve If they are a close-knit pack, which I assume they are, then they're probably howling as a sort of ritual to strengthen the group mentality. It's part of communicative canine behavior, like if you make a howl-like noise, your dog might join in. It strengthens the bond between them, and also lets any lone wolves or neighboring packs that the area is taken. They don't seem sad at all. They aren't whining, and their postures are relaxed.

  • fucking fences...

  • THey look sad behind cages!!

  • i hate justin beiber also i like wolves!!!

  • better than justin bieber

  • they have been reintroduced into many parts of the west and are now decimating elk and rocky mnt. sheep herds!!

  • They're so beautiful. I think I could fall asleep to that howling. It was weird to hear the wild cats with little meows though. ^_^

  • Es un sonido precioso... es un animal bellísimo.

  • beautiful sounds

  • Beautiful.

  • lol all three of my chihuahuas started howling

  • @flygrl69 My pom just barked.

  • It's so sad. They sound like they are crying.

  • This made me tear up. I feel the pain they feel when they howl. They want to be free. The way they were born to be.

  • @TheTortugaGirls You dont know if they feel pain, you just assume. They howl in the wild too ! As it happens, they do the howling to strengthen their lung capacity and to mark their territory, nothing else. How dumb you are ! Better focus on your turtles and leave the higher ranking animals alone.

  • so cute :3

  • i didnt know they had owls inbridioa

  • nice video

  • the sound of the lion was shitty

  • COLUMBUS ZOO????? I SEE THOSE WOLVES ALL THE TIME! OMG. How come you get to hear them howl? I love watching them, i go there all the time!

  • hey its a zoo, atleast the zoo owners they aint killing them ok?

  • lol the wolves sounding like a person there for a secc

  • My dog is better... :) Check out my video: dog howling sound - Duyualonrs

  • @DuyualonRS your dog is gay

  • Wonderful animals.. The Wolve song is fascinating.

  • where did you take this video at?

  • @kibathewhitesoul Columbus, Ohio, zoo

  • Pumas can't roar. They can meow, purr, growl, snarl, and hiss, but they can't roar. Pumas are bigger than leopards, but leopards are scientifically classified as big cats, while pumas are classified as small cats. However, leopards can roar because they have a flexible hyoid bone, and pumas don't, so they can't roar. The terms "big cat" and "small cat" are not literal.

  • I just wanna see the howling Mexican!

  • i wish i had one .

  • i think a wolf howl is the most beautifull sound ive ever heard. but that might just be cuase im cherokee.

  • @KrissieDoodle00 I love wolf howls!

  • I hate that they are in a cage but they are very beautiful and belong in the wild.

  • I had three hybrid Timber Wolf dogs.......what a blessing it was to live their lives with them......the full extent......miss em....

  • poor things :(

  • omg that howling always makes me sleepy and idk why but it has a wonderful melody to it!

  • i dont like this video all wolves should be free. =(

  • great vid buddy, just pull back on the zoom a bit.

  • My fav animal...the wolf beautiful mysterious and precious. Let them roam and run and be free. You wouldnt wanna be fenced in.....would you??

  • @alcoholic2anextreme Why arent you outraged for your fellow 2 million americans who are caged, forced to do prison labor, yea its optional on paper but once their in there its mandatory, or do you only care about animals?

  • beautifuls animals!

  • @steve273

Wow you're an idiot. You do know a bobcat weighs about maybe 30ibs if it's lucky? And 'pumas' aka moutain lions are not the type to attack for no reason. I've seen people buy a full grown one and keep it in their house and even have a nice little colar and leash. Don't underestimate the wolves, my boy. You don't know their power.... I've seen a wolf rip a guys throat out. And you think your little kitties are powerful?

  • Beautiful sound but not before fences

  • This video is great, the howling made all my cats at home stand at attention, ears perked big time!

  • i like the animals but you gotta let um go they don't deserve to be behind a fence how would you like it if you were in there position

  • @patriotfan2496 On one day certain animals are only safe behind walls/fences and whatever.. For now I agree with you, but in the future this might be the only way for many animals to still live sadly enough..

  • i agree with Poppet1984 on both things he sayd

  • They are very beautiful but they sound so sad! :(

  • by the way where is this any where closeto maryland beautiful video thanks soo much for psoting

  • OK. I've heard that in the wild of western Canada. Blue river. BC. CRAZY cool. We were on a canoe trip for a week and every night we'd hear the wolves howl. NOTHING like this. Like REAL wild wolves. we'd call out across the lake and they'd howl back. VERY VERY cool!!

    beautiful animals though!!

  • hey steve fuck you i love animals and im american sure i wouldnt go near a dangerous puma and or bobcat and wolves arent that bad

  • that kinda sounds like it's crying I felt bad for the wolfs they sound so sad

  • I heard Wolves are related to Whales. No joke.. Thats why they both howl like a Humpback Whale does..

  • I DIDN'T KNOW BOBCATS AND PUMAS COULD MATE. what geography would you find a bobcat and puma in???

  • u disrespect cats-i would happily enter an enclosure with 10 starving wolves-but i wouldnt go in a leopards enclosure-as indivisual leopards have killed over 150 ppl before-and killed them in cities and carried them away-like in bombay/mumbai-usually they eat guard dogs tho-a leopard or puma weighs same as a wolf but is many times more powerful/majestic/ferocious-wolves are not even dangerous-even tiny eagles can easily kill defenceless cowardly wolves-but would never dare attack a bobcat/puma

  • @steve273

    Good point

  • @steve273 you dumb shit wolfs hunt in a pack they would rip the shit out of you 2 wolves would wolves aren't coward either and an eagle wouldn't be able to kill a wolf maybe bite it but it would be eaten and my dog weighs as much as a puma wolves are 100+ pounds of shear power cat have power too but your lone puma or leopard would be killed and eaten by the 10 starving wolves

  • @pyromaniactard3 I hate these kinds of arguments. It's pointless, because it's not going to happen in reality. One on one, any large feline would destroy a wolf. A wolf pack would obviously take down any single foe. I don't think you're considering though....felines can climb trees, unlike canines. Any cat trapped by wolves would climb up a fucking tree and camp out until they go away.

  • u must be american as only americans fear wild animals and dont admire them-ppl wrangle crocs/gaitors and swim with them-even children swim in caimen infested waters with no fear-bears like grizzlies are filmed from just a few feet away catching salmon and eating grass and berries and u feed black bears in yellowstone and wolves almost never attack humans-so u love those 3 animal types-yet u hate big/any cats-and yet no tourist ever walked with big cats or hand fed them-cos they are dangerous

  • hey I think it would be cool if you generalized, k thanks

  • Hey I'm American and I dont fear wild animals

  • um, steve? when they're filming bears, it's with something you can put on a camera, a really cool invention.... called a "lens"... these "lenses" let you "zoom in" real close. the wild ones that people feed have grown accustom to humans and see them as food source instead of threat. there are COUNTLESS reports of attacks in Yellowstone, with lots of damage done. if you'd been there, you'll see rangers around warning people. but wolves hunt in packs. very few cats do-lions being an exception

  • wow if you actually believe amercians are afraid of wild animals than you are a complete idiot. O_O I live where there are many wild animals and I dont fear them one bit. Hell I tend to sleep on our 50 acres by myself at night. And also are you not an american??? are you head wrapped terrorist??? You know the ugly monkeys that bombed the twin towers??? I bet you are....oh I'm sorry if I offended you I'd hate for you to come bomb me..... >:I Dont judge someone who can judge you right on back ;)

  • @coldbitch93 you think a plane could actually make it all the way to new york city without getting shot down by a f-18... sounds kinda shiesty if you asked me

  • if anyone's bored and you own a dog, you just found a good 10 minutes worth of entertainment:)

  • it's funny how they sometimes wheeze when they howl

  • Wolves are really beautifulinfact I have a friend in a wolf hybrid her names Canuck shes such a dog to be around

  • My friend can howl like a white wolf, but my howl is a grey wolfs howl. My friends freak out when they hear it. My howl is very long, spooky, sad, and eeri. They get really scared when i howl.... I mostly howl when happy.. or when im sad. I some times howl when i am away from my friends, makes me feel weird and have a strange urge to howl.

  • wow. your a freak.

    god help you

  • FREAK.

  • beautiful and sad.

  • VERY beautiful indeed. but hey, LEARN HOW TO HANDLE A CAMERA.

  • This is a cool video but I hate seeing these animals behind fences they should be free.

  • A lot of the time, the wolves that are kept in captivity are cause they have either been injured in the wild and cannot return to the wild cause they will die...OR they are ill and well obviously will die in the wild...so the people cannot return them once they have been helped. Their illness or injury could be a life long threat...or it can be helped/cured and are soo returned to the wild

  • @katattack2012

I agree,, but some are found as abandoned pups, and if left they'll die, or if raised in captivity ::hand fed:: and returned,, will almost certainly die as well.. Not to many specialist out there like man amongst wolves who can train a wolf like its actual parents, and send it back to the wild capable of surviving and socializing ::Normally::

  • @katattack2012 i'd rather see them at the zoo alive then dead in the woods.

  • @katattack2012 Free for me too kill.

  • @katattack2012 true but a majority of zoo animals (too my knowledge) are born in captivity and dont know how to survive in the wild

  • @katattack2012 Totally agree but at least they don't have to worry about being shot from helicopters!

  • @katattack2012 The Columbus Zoo provides these animals with very large, open-space habitats for them to live and roam.

  • @katattack2012 Totally agree with you man. Unfortunately, many people not only want them only behind cages, in captivity, but many people(ranchers) want them completely eliminated. Write your lawmaker.

  • @katattack2012 They cant survive in the wild they were born and raised in captivity. They just need a bigger enclosure.

  • @katattack2012 Would you rather them not be domesticated and wild... and go and view them in the wild? Cause im pretty sure they would rip your face off if you decided to go out in the wilderness just to go get a closer look... So what, a few wolves are captive and not exactly free as you would think... but they are not unhappy. They get fed and exercised. Its like saying your family dog that you keep in the house, that only goes outside on walks and to take a poo is mistreated.

  • Love the sound, but you SUCK with the camera!

  • I have a wolf. But he is like very very big. Not Fat BIIG

  • wonder i want to ride a wolf :) even if it's deadly

  • It'd probably only be deadly to the wolf...

  • the best of music is the ones from nature

  • Beautiful as an angel

    Song like heavens stars

your beautiful howls are as if they are crying calling out with plead for mercy in our hands your lives are in our arms we are the only ones that can help you

swift as a cheetah and strong as a t-rex you still cant make it alone and so i finish this with one word......... HELP

  • you should change the name to...the most beautiful song in the world

  • Have you ever seen that guy who lives and has tried to be assimulated into a wolf pack -- now he has his girlfriend doing the same -- just like that guy with the bears it is only a matter of time till they get fatally attacked in my opinion .

    Marc in NYC

  • Wolves are not like bears, they can reason and will not attack 'just because'. Wolves also do not see humans as a potential food source. It is all about trust: Interact with the animals early on in their lives and they will treat you much differently than a wild equivalent. I believe the couple you are referring to are either Jim and Jamie Dutcher (of Wolves at Our Door fame) or a younger couple that have been on television recently whose names I can't remember.

  • Wow,....these wolf howls, lion roar, bobcat mew and puma mew is music to my ears! Fascinatin' how the bobcat and puma mew quite identically like your average housecat! Another 5 stars for ya IrenaScott and thanx for the share! = )
