Milk has cassein which is slow digesting protein... Whey is fast digesting U dont wanna mix cuz then u might as well be drinking milk post WO instead of whey with milk, Drink your Whey with water.
It is alright to drink it with milk for a slower release of protein such as overnight. This prevents, or at least significantly delays, your body going into a catabolic state as you sleep.
However, if you want to avoid dairy, as I do, you can just buy casein protein in powder form.
