She was still crated at five months? Wow. I couldn't do that. But, then again, my pup was housebroken by that time so I guess I was lucky. I never could stand the sad little cries when I put him in that crate.....or the fact that I would have had to buy a new one every week or so since he grows so freaking fast (nothing like a five month old 50lbs dog....)

Only 5 months here, she's 10 months old now.
