Well by the time I gained all limit breaks that aren't Cat Sith's Dice via the same area/monsters I "only" hit level 45 and fighting battles until you have 3x level 99 party members in this area just isn't worth it.
You'd be surprised as to how often you actually need the inn. I can easily go from level 30-something to 99 without ever needing the inn. Healing magic pretty much says it all. A certain worm (a simple enemy with a forgotten name (sea worm?)) found along beaches near Mideel (the sixth leveling grounds - the forest just around the town is my seventh leveling ground) drops turbo ethers that fully restore MP so you have a seemingly infinite MP supply. Just heal and save every now and then.
I've actually found a spot which every battler gives 2000+ exp and like 184 AP I believe or something along the lines of that. Trine will also take care of all the enemy's.
The best place is the sixth leveling ground. Not only is it faster than what this video has, it's also lame, requiring almost no user interaction. You could be referring to the case with 5 of those brain things that cause paralysis or stop. Yes, that's worth quite a bit, but it's the fact that the battle takes a long time that makes it not as worthy. You're better off with a 30-second span between battles that give just 1500 exp than you are with a 1-minute span giving 2100 exp.
@ulillillia Sorry I meant to get back to you right when you sent it but I forgot... But it's near the Northern Continent. and the creatures can't put any effects on you.
I'm an extreme powerleveler - I reach level 99 on disk 1 all the time in FF7, using my sixth leveling ground. I got level 99 on my first play on my fifth. Now that I'm aware of it, level 99 is reachable in reasonable time before my fourth leveling ground - right after obtaining the buggy. In FF1, I reach level 50 (the max) in the Terra Caverns before defeating the vampire. In FF12, I get level 99 at game start. I could go on....
The area you'd use depends on your level and whether or not you have the W-item materia. If you're around level 50 or 60 (lower if you're loaded with high-level HP plus materia so have 5000+), the left path in the Northern Cave is what you seek - the frequent magic pots give 8000 exp a piece and w-item (due to a bug) allows for an infinite supply of elixirs. If you don't have W-item, the bug is absent in your version, or extremely low level, the forest around Mideel is the best.
Enemy skill materia has 24 stars, right? That would imply that you could obtain 24 skills. What happens when all 24 are obtained, that I don't know, but knowing other materia, you get a new one. I've only ever had about 7 or 8 of the skills, maybe 10 at the high end.
The forest around Mideel is among the best before the northern cave. There's also the Junon alarm method, of which I was completely unaware of when I recorded these videos.
I'd also suggest the mountain area of Wutai. Just don't go up the ramp to trigger the Yuffie event,. The XP and AP gains are quite comparable, maybe even a little better. The big upside is you will gain lots of restorative items like X-Potions and Phoenix Downs.
My sixth leveling ground is much faster than that and it becomes first accessible at the same time as your area is. In addition, the Junon alarm method (I wasn't aware of it until after these videos were posted) is probably as fast as this, yours, or the sixth leveling ground, but it's accessible before the fourth leveling ground, much earlier in the story.
I have beat this game many times but one thing I've never done is obtain a single "Enemy skill" what do I have to do to get those? (Not the material the actual skills that comes from it)
To learn skills from "enemy skill", you just need to take a hit by the enemy's attack (manipulation accelerates this). I don't know if having an ally with enemy skill use it on another ally with enemy skill that doesn't have the skill to learn it.
It seems the Junon alarm area which is accessible before your fourth leveling area is better than both your fourth and fifth leveling area.... Lets hope its not better than the sixth or these videos have been very misleading.
At the time, I was completely unaware of the Junon alarm method. The best part about the sixth leveling ground is that it's lame - it requires very little interaction, so little that you can watch TV while doing it (though you'll need a second TV for this).
The Junon alarm method involves triggering the alarm in, I think, upper Junon which brings out tough enemies that are worth a lot of experience. You can use it as soon as you first leave Junon and return at any time after this point. I have yet to try it myself though.
@jon3s3yladd yh i know but they have gotton to easy now hardly any xp but i will try it again i go to the airship underwater which get me xp but i want to know any other places i could train =D XD
The forest around Mideel is the best until disk 3 at level 60 - about 2400 exp a battle. Just be sure to have defense against sleep status though. Accessing it requires the Highwind. Don't have the Highwind yet (such as being before the second half of disk 2)? The area covered in my sixth leveling ground is the next fastest. Of course, powerleveling does get quite monotonous and easy, but there are ways to thwart that - my sixth leveling ground is lame - very little interaction is needed.
Using days, weeks, and months for the units of time is pointless - not everyone plays the same amount each day. Hours makes more sense. If you rushed the story until you got the Tiny Bronco, you might be able to get level 99 via my sixth leveling grounds in under 40 hours on the game clock. It's untested though so I have no real idea as to how fast it really would be.
The battle arena in Gold Saucer has it - spend your battle points to get it. It doesn't have much of an effect on the encounter rate, so I tend to get 2 or even 3 of them....
What do you mean "at the low place"? By "max out your materia", I'm assuming mastering it (having the materia reach the highest level, and thus replicate).
I don't know in that case. I don't think I've ever used those spells. Given other FF games, and the names, "escape" is used to flee from battle and "remove" is used to eliminate an enemy (like instant death). I don't know if remove will affect experience gained. If it works when you encounter a single enemy, you should see that you'll get either 0 EXP or some EXP. With knowing how much the combo is worth, you can see if the EXP is less if there are multiple enemies.
Dude your videos are very helpful. Ive played FF7 on regular playstation for sometime now but i just figured out that on the playstaion store on the psp apps You can buy ff7 and play it on the psp its really cool. and you are kick ass on dis game
With my sixth leveling grounds, I, well, watch TV. Really! At the time, I was playing on my TV tuner and I was watching Morning Express on HLN, among others. It's also how I'm getting to level 99 on the first world with FF6. It's what I call "lame leveling" - it takes almost no involvement to do it, allowing you to do other things while waiting. Yet, 3 days is nothing compared to some of my other extremes such as listening to the same song for 52 1/4 days in a row (song and speed for 17).
I never tried the alarm thing. At the time I made these, I didn't know about it. If you average 1200 EXP per battle with the alarm area, it is better. The best place of all for disk 1 is my sixth leveling grounds. The best in the game is the Northern Cave, the final area.
Rocket town, and it's very close by (the next town at this point). Exit has a very decent 23 1/3 to 1 gil to AP ratio, among the 3 best in the game (magic plus (obtained on disk 2) is second with a 28:1 ratio and all is the best with a 40:1 ratio).
You need to open the safe in the Nibelheim mansion, defeat the sudden boss, and take the key into the basement and you'll find a coffin. Go from there.
There's a letter on the left side of the mansion's entrance explaining the details. It gives various clues. I recall there being a "97" and a "10" in the code. There's four numbers in all. You can also check cheat code websites for this as well.

It's your first destination after obtaining the Tiny Bronco in Rocket Town (if I recall). You get Vincent in the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim. I don't recall where I got the Sniper CR from, however. Clear the Rocket Town event and you can go to my 6th leveling grounds, the fastest leveling until disk 3.
Thanks. I am now right after the events with the keystone. I went exploring and am now in an area fighting "Spirals". My part is at level 60, but now I have Aeris in my party and I can't take her out. After she dies can I come back to these areas, before disk 2 for more leveling? I want at least level 80 before disk 2. thanks for your reply, and again thanks for the videos.
