Another good catch Mark, congrats on the personal first! Again this shows that you benefit from your noise free rural location in the Scottish Borders. I tried some indoor MW DXing last night but got nothing really special and some channels such as 1520 were completely blocked by a strong local noise that has newly occured recently. Obviously, one of my neighbours has got some new electronic device causing that heavy buzzing. Cheers Matthias

@senderjaeger Thanks Matthias I certainly have the advantage of living in the country in a part of Scotland that is sparsely populated without any big industry this without a doubt allows me to DX from my home... I too have a neighbour only one :) but they have a plasma TV and in the evening until it is switched off I get noise more noticeable on the Perseus than the NRD 545 and it tends to effect the tropical bands but having antennas out doors helps and listening can continue cheers Mark
