Nope, comic books are seriously not worth shit besides the intrinsic reading material. The hobby has been ruined like baseball cards.

I think a collection of wine and liquor makes sense. Good for trade/barter. I have a network of people who have skills like carpentry, repairs- they are always willing to make deals. And alcohol doesn't go bad. And you can always consume it yourself. If space is limited, you have to consider if it's worth it to store collectibles- because you might have to hold onto them for years.
