"Rubin & Ed" was released in 1991, but was filmed in 1986-87. Crispin is certainly dressed exactly the same as his character, and the kick is something he does in "Rubin & Ed". He could be on acid, but one thing is for sure, he's not Crispin in this interview.

It's not fake, it's not staged, Glover's just a freak, and was trippin' balls. In his defense, having to share the stage with Paul and Dave would be the perfect reason to go on an acid bender.
