  • yeah I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 22 HP engine. more like 80-90 ish

  • @Wheelman286 It was 92 hp @ 5200 rpm, but Tim was being facetious. :)

  • 416! Toronto rules, way to support old cars LOL

  • i would rather hear myself choking than drive this car

  • 22hp engine? lmao

  • i used to rock this car in high school 2005 while people were driving honda civics n shii!

  • @bonnhew i'm rocking the Reliant right now! Still got people in ricer civics!

  • Now that I've re-watched this, I think the Ares is actually a pretty nice car. :)

  • Classic!!!

  • Epic music!

  • @GarlicPudding It's "Loops of Fury" by The Chemical Brothers, from their 1996 album "Loops of Fury".

  • Fuck, i cant find a dodge aries for san andreas anywhere >_>

  • He forgot to mention one of the coolest luxury features, "See through windows!"

  • An oldie but goodie...I pulled this down from AdCritic back in 2001...

  • Thatta baby funny shit yo

  • Just goes to show that no matter how little a car has, they can advertise it like it is the best thing ever.

That guy's tone sounded like he wasn't bullshitting.

  • My grandmother had a 1982 aries. The gauge needles used to shimmy up when you started the engine.

  • haha..nice ..this was my first car..lol. very nice car..

  • I want to get 1,000 Dodge Aries cars out of the junkyard and resurrect them as electric vehicles. That way, we can sell a bargain auto to people who are desperately in need of one but yet trying to save the environment doing so.

Even if it means switching to drivetrain parts that are currently in production, we are still going to restore their reliability!

They may not have airbags, but at least they have 6-passenger seating if some young adults wanna carpool and go green at the same time!

  • @SamuraiClinton YEAH!

And I also wanna upgrade the raggedy-ass radios to kickass stereos with line-in jacks for iPods. I also wanna swap out their raggedy factory bench seats with kickass leather bench seats. That way, my morbidly gay nigger friends who are in deep poverty can have hardcore buttfucking gay nigger sex when riding in a economically ressurected economy car riding down the highway like chuck norris on crack for another 69,105 miles!

Boy are electrical cars the BEST CARS EVER!

  • @SamuraiClinton...

"...trying to save the environment doing so."

Last time I checked, coal wasn't terribly environmentally-friendly.

Guess what the source of the majority of electricity is?

Google "mouintaintop removal mining" and report back...and perhaps "acid mine drainage" while you're at it.

  • my first demolition derby car was an '89 Aries. They truly are tanks i took first place.

  • My first car was a '82 Aries with a missing rear windshield. 80k, 50 bucks

  • Heh, my first car was an '89 Dodge Aries. I loved that thing, it was a tank, the thing just would never break down. It was great, I kinda miss it.

  • I have one just like that. It's my third K car, and I love it.

    Great on gas.

    Easy to work on.

    Chick magnet.

What more do you want for $500.

  • Many mechanics made their living off of these little cars.

  • Comment removed

  • BOOYA! I have a boring, fixed address life, thus I drive with a K-Car with a bench seat as standard!

  • Nive!

  • thats a sweet fucking ride

  • I had an '83 Plymouth Reliant K it got smashed before I could really learn to appreciate it I loved that car (got $500.00 totalled cash LOL) - Go K cars!!

  • baaahahahahahaha i totally had an 86 aries as my first car!!! what a gool lil' girl she was!! oh the things she taught me about cars! r.i.p. aries

  • LOL 200 obo thats the truth

  • this video rocks! I had/have (It's out in our driveway) an '89 Dodge Aries in that tan/beige color with red interior. I busted out laughing when I saw the map light. The worst part is the odometer only had 5 dials on it so I never truly knew how many miles were actually on it. It was such a piece of crap...but I loved it. It was my first car! The transmission was going out so I would jerk and heave down the highway. My car's name was Betty. :)

  • Lol, I had an 88 aries from my junior year in HS to my senior when it caught on fire. Love the creampuff!

  • rofl 85% now have a fixed address.

  • Nothing but junk! Big shame for American auto industry!

  • But the K-cars did save Chrysler once...

  • It was pretty decent for it's time. Not like the current Sebring which is pretty much the worst midsize sedan on the market.

  • Hyundai Pony LOL

  • if thats the case imagine that hundai or however u spell da shit.

  • Years ago I saw a burgandy-colored Aries with gold-plated trim on everything. Antenna, door handles, door locks, everything. I laughed so hard that I almost ran off the road.
