breaking your braces parts just delays you more.
tightening your teeth too fast fucks them up.

I was only wired shut for 5 weeks, and most people are even less than that, but I was back eating solid foods in only about 2 months.

Yep, I'm braces-free now, and you don't have much longer either. Did you have jaw surgery too, or just the braces?

No, I didn't have jaw surgery and I'm suppose to wear braces for two years. That's dumb b/c I only had like 1mm gaps and nothing really more to do. Happy early B-day too!!!! Our b-days are coming up, they're sooo close. lol

Have you gotten them off yet? FYI we have the same birthday, I thought it was funny. I currently have braces too and get them of around January 2010. I've had the same things done with rubber bands too.
