Of course ha, there are four legends of Japan that are my influences. Prism, Takanaka, Casiopea, T-Square.. By the way, Asayake is coming soon, but i'm waiting for sax parts.

What do you use to record with? Home studio? How do you get your backing tracks?

Love the Les Paul better! Yamaha is great once you dial in a good tone and has unbelievable sustain! But it has an ice pick high end! It's so bright it almost makes your amp sound like a solid state! Don't get me wrong, I love it's sound on tunes like Europa and on Santana's Swing of Delight LP. I guess it just depends on how you use it.

I just plug a crappy mic into my crappy laptop. I just have to use some ingenuity to make it sound reasonable ha.

Exactly, depends how you use it and what you're using it for. I use them all for different reasons and different applications.
