is it easier to play this on a gamepad? im finding it hard to insert my comands on a keyboard

Does Youmu have any good blockstrings? All blockstrings I know are escaped by HJ8. And Reimu, Sakuya and some other blockstrings are only escaped bu Border Escape. Youmu must have it too!

When i jump towards the enemy to j5a they hit me first with j5a or another shit... Any tips?

I mean it requires the enemy to be beneath you else its useless

@PlayingTarot: Yeah, all of the air combos are situational. I didn't decide to put in so many variations on a whim; each of them are to be used in a specific situation, e.g. j5A j6A when they are at your level/below, j5A j8A when they are above you, etc.

On an unrelated note, I would like to mention one of the important things this tutorial is missing: 5AAAAA 66A 623B should be used as a corner BNB in most situations. Works with j5A starter. Oki not as good as j5A j6A ender, tho.

@Rooxin thanks now i see. I missed one thing that you need to airdash backwards when close to the corner, and i did the opposite and failed to catch them to j5a but now i can do it.

I just watxhed this (LOL so late) but I have a few comments...

- You forgot about midscreen pressure ?

- I think B bullets better not be cancelled to hj9 j5a... instead just stay grounded

- The stuff you did at 5:45 (hj9 j1d j66) = watch JP play much? :O

- No dedicated section indeed. Pressure is even more limited than in the corner, but you may want to use the simple [melee string] > alt. 236B > HJ > [j6A > stuff depending on distance] OR [e.g. j66 j5A], mixing with a tight but kinda unsafe melee move (j6A) and a delayed reset. That or basic c.2/5A staggers/rekka as shown, but I'm basically out of options if my opponent can analyse my press decently.

Overall a very comprehensive and well made video, although I would add a little more elaboration on her air-to-air game, because that's very important , especially for maintaining pressure(or lack thereof). Well done.. I was also curious about the damage output at 7:20.

Why is it that when you did the j5a j6a j5c j5a j8a combo at 2:05 it resulted in 2403 damage but when you did it at 7:20 it only did 2269 damage? Dolls?

Look at the health bar. In practice mode, when you time your oki nicely enough (meaning that your move is meaty or close to it), they do not regenerate health from the last combo. At 2:05, when Meiling takes the combo, she is at 100% bar, so there is no damage reduction due to health, but there is at 7:20. Because Komachi is not at full health when the combo starts, she undergoes slightly reduced damage.

This is very helpful as Youmu is my main character. Can you make more tutorial videos? I'd like to suggest Yuyuko as I haven't seen a tutorial video on her on Hisoutensoku. Also, I plan to make her my 2nd character, but I don't have a definite style to play as her.
