  • Alright first of all, you started taping the track..Not the players in the mid section of the video. And I recommend you really trying for 3 steps between hurdles because if you can do 4 steps, that means you have enough power to do 3 steps. Nice video and good luck :D

  • @TheChristGeneration Call me odd but I don't think he was taping anything, I think he was the one competing. And just because you can do four steps doesn't mean you have the power to do three. What if his legs are too short and NOT powerful enough to do three? I coached the hurdlers at Rubidoux years back and I couldn't make the same assumption you just did by just watching the video. Nice effort, though, armchair coach.

  • @rustyspartner Yes, like I mentioned in the video description, my mom was taping. And, towards the end, probably forgot she was taping. :-P

I devoted a lot of practices to trying to three-step but, being a shade under 5'9", it was difficult at best. I had to bound over the hurdles to try and keep it up and that just slowed me down.

  • @runnerstud18 I ran 110's for Rubidoux from 89-93 and, at 6' 3", I think I took being able to three step for granted. It wasn't easy to get over those tall hurdles, even for me so I commend your efforts. My mom used to tape me, too, and she would be yelling so much the camera would jerk furiously. Bless our moms for being there to support us, though. :-)

  • wow...that was fast :)
