  • @joenwayne That's alright, I really like th rendition here, it's beautiful. THe weather here has changed here in Norfolk UK, and is colder, what's it like in the US ?

I attend a lovely church, The Sacred Heart, about 5 miles away. I was Confirmed a Catholic at Easter, and I love it. Take care

  • @josparkes1

It's winter (Jan. 18th) here in the northeast US - had some nights where it dropped to 9° F (-13° C).

    Cheers,

    Wayne

  • @joenwayne That is cold ! It is v mild in Norfolk, for the time of the year, incredibly mild- everyone says so. THa masses at Christmas were beautiful.

  • Maybe by posting this sacred music, a person does a bit of the Lord's work.

So, my thanks for posting it.

  • Being an Episcopalian myself.....we also sing this at Midnight Service on Christmas Eve. When I hear this, it brings the somber mood to what is otherwise, a childlike excitement of the commercialism of Christmas. Seldom do people hear the entire peice...as many times as I have sung it in church....it remains truly a soul reaching hym, that Christmas will never be without.

  • Absolutely Fabulous!

I found this whilst looking for a good arrangement for this hymn. After listening to this I worked out the chord patterns and used it at mass in the Cathedral last sunday. I had 7 comments saying how great it was!

    Thanks so much :)
