This video for me is inappropriate. I'm a return missionary myself and this doesn't represent well what we do. Especially the way these kids behaved. You may call it a parody but as the scripture says, we shouldn't trifle on sacred things. The chapel, and the prophet were irreverently presented here. I hope this kid finishes his mission and realize that what he did was irreverent. Better yet, remove this video. Be a true LDS please.

Its $10,000 for one mission, which is two years. $10,000 divided by 12 months comes out to around $833 a month. It's living expenses (food, apartment, etc) and traveling expenses like flight, etc. Its not paying for the experience. Its paying to have food and shelter, just like anyone else would for any other trip. Also, if you can't come up with the money, the church helps cover it. They want to help.
