although she said the criticism didnt get to her, i think it did and i think thats why she got into drugs.. to kind of use it as an escape from all that.. she had such a beautiful voice and her songs always had like a life lesson to it

@Salamy10 I personally just think she was an artistic mind trapped in a very narrow minded South Africa, but she didn't give a fuck about it she just brushed off the negativity (and snorted some of it no doubt) and just did her. It takes a lot to stay as strong as she did and even through drug addiction, controversy and ultimately death she still managed to let her personality and talent shine through and it takes a strong positive person to do that :D
