  • My brother-in-law was spit on when he arrived in the US from Vietnam, so it happened to at least one veteran.

  • Dear Grofys:

No court accepts hear say evidence or second hand reports. Therefore, I don't.

In any case, so many Hollywood propaganda movies (Rambo for one) claimed returning veterans were spit on, the vets themselves began to believe it. In any case, I don't believe your brother in law. Why would anyone spit on a veteran? There was absolutely no dislike of veterans in America. How did it happen? Did your brother in law simply allow himself to be spit on? Was it a gang or 1 spitter? M or F?

  • Part II:

Was your brother in law spit on t the airport on arrival? If so, which airport? Was he spit on in the city of his arrival or near his military base? Was he spit on in his home town? Did he know the names of the folks who spit on him? Were the spitters from an organized group?

All the Best / Mike Hogan

  • he told us directly. your belief system does not define the truth. it happened, whether you believe it or not.

  • Mr. Hogan wasn't discussing his "belief system," he was querying you for evidence that would support your claim.

Numerous scholars have studied the question of whether or not American soldiers returning from Vietnam were spit on. Those who have studied this found no supporting evidence to back up such claims.

Furthermore, many of the anti-war people were actually veterans themselves who woke up to the horrors that America was visiting on a country that simply wanted to be free.
