    thanks alex

  • from what land cruiser is that

and can yuo gime all the torque specs

    thank you

  • Hi

Your video has helped plenty so far, thanks very much.

I saw you use a tension gauge ( at 4:57 of this video ) to measure the pre-load of the hub rotation, same as in your other video for the rear hub. What tension should they be for the front and rear hub respectively? I don't seem to find the info in the service manual.

    Thanks in anticipation

  • Thanks mate, i picked up a big tub of penzoil ultra heavy duty wheel bearing grease, do you need to use any silicone or gasket glue on the gaskets? Thanks for your help , cheers

  • @StRuMzNdRuMz some people do, i have and haven't, water always gets in no matter what if you play in water:)

  • Good job very informative, is good wheel bearing grease ok to use fo this job????

  • @StRuMzNdRuMz yes use good wheel bearing grease.

  • What advise would you give to a newbie

    1) which is the most critical step in both dimantling and rebuilt

    2) when rebuilting, how critical are those torque settings, would you recommend to go get myself proper torque wrenches

    3) I was told to use high temp bearing grease for the wheel bearing, would I use it on all the bearings in the system, or just the wheel bearing. Also would there be any compatibility problem when they are in contact with the Molly Grease for the swival knuckle

  • @Myffrree 1. following the factory manual

    2. all torque requirements are mandatory

    3. a good quality wheel bearing grease is good for both hub and knuckle.

    thanks for watching!

  • great job mate i would trust u with my truck any day

  • @lukeman108 Thanks Luke!

  • What sort of grease is that, some type of moly grease?

  • @darthvincor I forget the name - it is a synthetic grease, repels water much better but 14 bucks a tube! Thought I would try it out this time to see how it works. Thanks for watching!

  • Top notch work. Thanks for putting these up!

  • @kabodkhwaamkhid Thank you for watching!

  • Well done on the final video, I'm almost ready for my front end rebuild, got new japanese CV's Koyo wheel & trunnion bearings, just got to go & see Mr T for all the seals. Thanks for the videos, they are definitely a big confidence booster!

PS, would you stick with genuine inner axle seals or go Marlin?

  • @greyseries I was going to use the marlins but had these in stock, next time marlins. Thanks for watching!
