  • Lol in just messin, I know what all you gotta do to do it, but there are a few tricks make it easier

  • There's actually a little trick to where you don't have to take the intake off, it's just a bit tricky.

  • 150 horse injectors with a stock intake manifold....

  • was the stack a good investment?

  • @dkchapss I wouldn't classify any exhaust as a good investment....

  • hOW'S YOUR FUEL MILEAGE BEEN SINCE THE SWAP?

  • @JASONANDTRACI It is pretty much the same but it seemed to be about 2 MPGs better. But that could have been different driving and weather related....

  • struggle to start up ???

  • @11Pointerr That's a very common start for right after installing new injectors. Got to get fuel without a bunch of air in it to the injectors. Probably should have bled them a little more first, but oh well. Starts instantly everyday.

  • i could listen to that idle all day!

  • Should have bought that Ford its way better

  • No smoke? no kidding, no way can the stock turbo handle any injectors over 50hp, and if so you must not have a boost fooler/fuel program in place to control the injectors which means the ecm is de-fueling the truck and that seems like a waste of after market injectors to me.

  • @Bigblockcuda 50 horse injectors and a chip run fine on a 24valve without defueling, definatley not a waste

  • Is that a Airdog/ FASS I hear?

  • Is that a Airdog/ FASS I hear?

  • Bad start, check Ur injection pump,,,I had to order a new one,,,I put it in and it never starts hard...

  • @winnyfromcali he just put in a new set of injectors which means he was probably priming the fuel system

    . NOOB

  • No smoke?

  • farmboy diesel hell ya

  • nice cummins man!

  • I like the stack!

  • Is this a 12 valve?

  • @dirtyfarmboy 12 valve ended in midyear 1998, this is a 24 valve

  • good job with the starting. alot of people just keep crankin hoping it will go but you let the pump do it's job and force fuel in.

  • It is a 7" Stack and yes you have to take off the intake and TPS

  • @epicpaddler i didnt have to take my intake or TPS off? i just took my Valve cover off thats it, then changed out my injectors. but i have an 2001 it shouldnt be that different should it?

  • @Coltonself1995 OK... your comment has got me a little worried for your safety... If you didn't remove your intake how did you remove your crossover tubes? It sounds to me that you just yanked out your injectors and stuffed your new ones back in which would result in some serious damage to the crossovers/injectors that would make them leak like a race horse. A 2001 is no different than an 02.

  • did you take off the intake manifold? and do you take the throttle position sensor off?

  • what size is that stack?

  • How well are they working out with your stock turbo ? How are your EGTs?

  • @MrRagingbull83 It is doing fine. They EGTs can get hot but are still ratter tamable... I was pulling over 18K with it and they would hit 1400 when pulling up hill, just got to let off the throttle and be a lil gentle

  • @epicpaddler or downshift get some boost and cool her off.

  • next time you should consider cracking the injectors to start it

  • was it cold that day?

  • Everything under the hood looks stock? Did the EGT's get pretty hot after the install?

  • nice you put a aftermarket fuel lift pump on i can hear it is that holley blue or what rout did you go

  • only 1 smoke stack??

  • 0:48 = Mr. Bean

  • @corbs671 haha that was a buddy of mine... I gave him alot of crap for that...

  • i love the sound of diesels! that loud clap the injectors make every time they fire

  • There is a way to bleed all the air out, but I'm sure you got it fixed now

  • check my video aftermath 150hp injectors, how do u like injectors going.

  • What year is that?

  • 2002

  • Thanks

  • rpms sound lower than normal

  • It's just a rough idle because of all the air that is still in the lines. Normal for it to last for a few minutes after installin new injectors.

  • @epicpaddler You know all you have to do is leave the injector lines loose and after you get it started tighten the lines up. The service manual says just 3 lines have to be left loose.

  • @epicpaddler It's funny, they tell you to prime the pump and bleed it of air, but, in the shop they had us prime the pump, run it through 2 run cycles, and then start it, it'll hesitate for a few tries, but then after that, it idles a little rougher than yours, then it's fine.

  • rev that suma bitch up.

    sounds good though.

  • where is the smoke. rev the thing man, haha. sweet

  • Your Fass is really quiet
