kid you nailed it. god it's much better with the internet nowdays - way easier to learn tunes. i can remember sitting in front of a tape cassette player constantly pausing and re-winding, listening to solos and attempting to copy 'em. modern life is NOT rubbish at all...
Lovin the tab man. Just wonderin, is the bit at 0:35 x07600 to x07604 then go to x07650 before the 7540 bit, if ye get me?? And btw, does the bit actually start with x07600 or is it x07650? Cheers

@themushieman That section is just x07650 then quickly to x07604, x07600. Followed by x07650, x07607, x07605, x07604 but it should be played so quickly you will only be emphasising the melody notes. Tbh though just play it till it sounds good to you and keep the rhythm even. Karl
That was fantastic! Best tutorial I've ever seen and now I can play my most impressive song! None of this "put the second finger on the third fret of the B string" crap, just nice slow playing and a great tab. I'm now working on Old House with your help. I rarely leave comments but wanted to say thanks for such a great video. Top man!
@karloslim People is honest when they say GREAT one of the best covers in youtube!. nice man very nice and if this would be a forum where every body give points you will get 10000000000 , !!
This video made it possible for me to play one of my all time favourite songs live in a pub near Manchester. It went down remarkably well! Cheers man, amazing tab and video! x
Wow this is great. I think this is the first useful application of those youtube comment popup bubbles I"ve ever seen. Thanks so much for sharing, and very very well played. I'd have never figured out all those intricacies.
Cheers. It's a Faith Venus FV...not that well known but got a nice bright sound. A bit lacking in the bottom end but you can't have it all(unless you spend shed loads of money)
thanks alot im not nuch good at picking tab up but ive been having a go at this for half hour and ive learnt half of it ... find easier with the tabs in the corner as u play really helps . . maybe when ive learnt it i'll put a cover on here
Sort of? It's very close to perfection!

Can ya play this without a capo?
themushieman 2 years ago
The tab is written out relative to the capo so yeah np. It sounds better with a capo though

Thank you so much.
I haven't picked up my guitars in ages, and this has sparked me!
My favourite Smiths song, and after one session with your vid, I'm almost there.
Thanks

thanks for posting this, really. what is that thing on your fret board? i'm new to this.
nyuguy2k 2 years ago
It's called a capo and raises the pitch of all the chords-most Smiths songs are played tuned up to F#. Cheers

i can now play it.. most enjoyable to play bit rusty love how different the smiths make there music
