@ese4life667 The model in the video is a SCPH-70003 (PAL, Europe). These discs can be used with older models as well (the fat PS2), just need to cut up a plastic card to open the DVD tray. As far as I'm aware they work on any PS2, except you need the correct region Swap Magic discs. You can't use a PAL swap magic disc on an NTSC USA PS2 and vice versa. As long as the region matches the console region, it should work.
@HarryPotterFan134 I did, the original was over 2 hours :). This isn't a tutorial as such, it's me working with what was sent and I showed it warts and all. There are lots of videos on youtube that make everything look easy (watch a stripdown video of an iphone and then try and do it yourself, a lot easier taking apart the one that has already been opened a few times). Looking forward to your tutorial because when all you get is 2 discs, 3 pieces of metal & no instructions, people need help
@compandcons Hey, i wanted to buy Kingdom hearts re: chain of memories but its only out on an ntsc formot, i heard swap magic can let me play it on my pal ps2, so what would i have to do, like buy the swap magic disc and i can play it?
with the one your having it sits flat and sticks to the bottom of the disc tray but to do it you have move the thing to the right and then put the thing on the blocker in the little gap then stick it down
