  • This game is so beautiful, and it makes me mad. Mad at the Wii's inability to produce 1080p resolution. I feel like taking a sledgehammer to it, setting it aflame, and pissing on the leftover charred pieces.

  • 10:59 ... knocked the FUCK out

  • Were you using a real wiimote for this dolphin-run game? I just recently bought a Wiimotion Plus INSIDE controller for myself and this game, I can connect the wiimote to my computer, and the wiimote to dolphin, but it acts like no buttons are configured. Is the wiimotion plus compatible with dolphin, and wiimotion plus inside not or what?

    Any guesses/help?

  • Damn thats some great grapics right there.

  • i see the inprovments...

  • You were just screwing with the game, weren't you? What with using that bow in the first temple, and fighting the skeleton with the beetle already in your possession. I was kind of surprised that the game gave you the upgraded beetle after the fight; that was really odd.

  • @antismatic This is footage from the demo, which gives you those items before you receive them in the actual game.

  • Beautiful.

Now, how exactly did you manage to get that shield before the first battle with Ghirahim??

  • @antismatic This video is from the demo, not the actual game.

  • What sensor bar are you using? and whats WM+?

  • @kaznW Wii Motion Plus, an add on for the Wii remote which gives it increased accuracy for motion controls via gyroscopes.

  • It's really beautiful in HD, but it doesn't look like a painting. I miss that.

  • I am enraged that i can't play this on my TV.

  • @MaiAriSquee Mini-HDMI -> HDMI cable from your GPU to your TV?

  • Could you please post or PM me all of your settings if you don't mind? What is checked and unchecked? I still have trouble with the DoF and if I EFB to Ram it slows me down to like 12fps.

  • Does Dolphin support 6 core cpus?

  • what would you need to make it run 20-30 fps in the worst graphics quality?

  • @juakinote Graphics quality really doesn't matter much, the GPU in a modern computer is a million times more powerful than the Wii's. The CPU will have trouble emulating the thing, and there's no graphics setting that can change that.

  • @WolfosDotOrg would an AMD athlon II dual core m320 2.1 ghz work?

  • @juakinote I don't think it would, no. AMD's processors aren't quite as good as Intel's, and your's is pretty old. I have a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo in my laptop, and I doubt it would run this very well.

  • when i was fighting that dude the first time i died alot lmao

  • you are pretty good, I set my setting to 16x anisotropic filtering but i set got that banding on textures. I have a Phenom II x6 3ghz, and radeon hd 6800 series 8gb, still not that fast, but then again i'm not OC'ing it

  • Nevermind, just found out for myself. Thanks for all the tips and stuff man, hope you enjoy the game, I know I will.

  • What kind of CPU cooler do you have for overclocking?

  • @Dattebayo27 Cooler Master Hyper 212+

  • Can I ask you whats everything you need to make this happen?

  • @OfficialMonotone Hardware - PC with a strong multicore CPU and a solid GPU, bluetooth adapter, Wii Remote + Motion Plus Add-on (or a remote with M+ built in) + nunchuck attachment, sensor bar, homebrewed Wii console to make an image of your game disc

Software - bluetooth drivers (Windows 7's BT stack works best), download SVN r7718 from the Dolphin website

  • @r4r3truffle Okay, so I played TP on this PC with little issue, I have an OCd HD 4950 and 3.0 Ghz AMD Phenom II Dual Core, 6 gigs of RAM. Think I can handle this at at least decent settings? If so, all I need is a Wiimote and Nunchuck and I'm good to go.

  • @OfficialMonotone The game is more demanding than Twilight Princess. I've read that someone with a Phenom II x4 clocked at 3.4GHz was getting frame drops to ~20 in some areas, so SS will probably give your setup some trouble...

  • @r4r3truffle Naturally, I'll just have to drop the resolution and AA. Whatever, as long as I can play this game. One last question, if you don't have anything plugged in or emulated, the game won't even start correct? I'd like to test out my performance before I actually purchase the hardware. I'm 99% sure I won't be that lucky though.

  • what settings of your computer ?

  • @wolflink06041992 In the video description.

  • @r4r3truffle oh sorry , had not seen the description . Thanks o/

  • holy shit u just crapped my pants, you think my system would do same?

    2500k, 560ti, p8p57 pro, 8gb ram? sir

  • @make366 Your GPU is faster and everything else is the same (even on stock clock, think the 2500k should be fine with it), so definitely.

  • @r4r3truffle thanks, going to buy me wiimote :D

  • How did you connected Wii Motion Plus to PC?

  • @MasMe Using a Bluetooth adapter.

  • <3 Zelda and Link, Ah young love.

  • How did you upload such a large file? I find that 1080p is 4 gigs for 90 seconds of footage. So I guess this file must have been like 50 gig plus right?

  • @wiredboy27 Compression. I ran 3 passes with the x264 encoder on the video and it ended up being a very manageable ~500mb.

  • what version of dolphin you using. i have a real highend pc(gtx 570 and intel core i7), but skyward sword is the only game that looks really jaggy. there's these real thick diagonal lines all over the screen, and they seem to move. only happens in this game. is there a setting i should change. the game is running in 1080p, but only characters look sharp while the world looks cruddy

  • @JR262133 All of the 3.0 builds of Dolphin have graphical glitches with Skyward Sword, try an older version like SVN r7718 (what I used for this vid) and the settings in the description.

  • motion plus works shit with dolphin

  • @Zetek04 Except... in this video I'm using a WM+ in Dolphin and it works perfectly fine?

  • @r4r3truffle upload your dolphin folder and send post it in description

  • So if I may ask, how do you play this? With a Wii Mote?

    Thanks for uploading btw.

  • @OfficialMonotone Yes. A Wiimote with the Motion Plus attachment.

  • @r4r3truffle what about a nunchuck?

  • @freaky011 Nunchuck is required for the game, so yes I'm using one.

  • 64 or 32 bit?

  • @djfuzzems 64

  • Looks like sex, woo!!

  • God bless the glorious PC gaming master race.

  • @ProjectMecha

    go back to /v/

  • Oh, gosh, this makes it that much better.

  • does overall it runs well?

  • it's a master piece :')
