I've just taken up Taekwondo and only know the basics, but from looking at that I could hardly see where those points were coming from! I think the best bit of this is where Mr.Blue starts running off down the end of the mat, lol!
The fact that in the first round the guy didnt hit his face and you'd be lucky if it hit his kneck, they gave blue two points for that then gave aaron an 8 count when he was clearly waiting to fight? THen in the clash where aaron and blue kicked at the same time, they gave blue one point and aaron none? Aaron was robbed blind, although the head shot that ended the match was legit.
The ref must count to 8. That's why :) And if the fighter isn't ready at 8, he is declared as loser by KO (because the ref must continue to 10 if the fighter doesn't seem ready to keep fighting)
@arminjin No, i understand what an 8 count is, but I was pondering rather, why the ref whas counting him out. Usually, 8 counts are administered when a powerful head kick is delivered, not when someone is hit lightly...

Good question Tristan! but lets face it the referee isnt a world class ref so prob doesnt know the rules like hes sposed to!
