The best line ups of Whitesnake were this one, the Sykes only line up and the Vai & Vandenberg line up... The Marsden & Moody line was good but they made different music back then, pure blues rock music. After Sykes Whitesnake is heavy metal...

he's a great player. i love him and not putting down but he dont have the feel for whitesnake. sykes, vandednberg, and marsden, moody wrote all have feeling. they are my favorite band next to zep but they are not whitesnake anymore. they need to get back to the feel of older whitesnake. sykes and vandenberg with neil murry and tommy aldridge and jon lord would be the best thing to ever happen to whitesnake. doug is great but like his insturmental stuff. that is where he shines.
