  • unbelieveable...

  • oh my god goob perfect master..luck =)

  • bravo

  • What a brilliant and colourful performance of this challenging piece. Your virtuoso playing has made me see it in a different light. Thank you.

  • What a wonderful performance! I worked on this piece for my years (decades, actually). It is very difficult. Now I have a good excuse to stop torturing myself and others!. Thanks you.

  • bravissimo, grande controllo e .....studio

  • :17 major/minor HO! This is great performance from Javier!

  • MUY BUENO

  • wooow I'm speechless. You inspire my horn studies.

  • wooow I am left speechless. You are an inspiration to my horn studies.

  • Pretend to have an orange in your mouth - open mouth - drop jaw - and sing just a little louder than the note played. It takes LOTS of practice - but jbonet2003 is right - the harmonics is a result of the vibrations of the larger of the bore. Notice too his natural horn probably had a thinner bell than normal modern horns - making it easier to produce harmonics. If you have a detachable bell - and you play this - use the lighter bell flare if you have opportunity.

  • Look at the numbers! 2,000 people didn't bother to listen to the second movement. Maybe if he had a monkey on stage with him? What does it take?

  • Lips of steel! So lyric!

  • Magical performance. I wish I was there :)

  • Dear Javier, how many kilos have you lost in that concerto? lol... The Weber's concertino is very difficult and tiring and I don't know how many horn player have performed live this piece!! very good job.....

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Does anyone know how exactly how he produced the multiphonics at the end of the 1st movement?

  • It´s not difficult. You have to play a note in the low register, (normally the written note in the score, and then try to sing with big volume, beautiful sound and perfect pitch a higher note. Then some times you can hear more harmonics sounding as result of the two notes, one played and the other one singed.

  • @jbonet2003 are you singing using falsetto?

  • My face is sore just listening to you play that! Excellent endurance.

  • absolutly amazing !!!!!!! perfect !!!
