  • I like it.

  • they are good. such beautiful voices

  • This C&W-esque version shows how great the song originally was.

  • hola

  • Shame that album didnt do very good i love this song and the album!

  • Best version of this song.

  • I wonder why ron never sang the words "at all"

  • love this version!

  • I hate to age myself ... but Google this song. It was put out a LONG time ago by a guy named John Waite. I think that was his name. LOL This used to be one of my favorites back in the day,

  • @MsShellMel the John Waite version is excellent too. B&D did it justice on this.

  • I didnt even hear of them until i clicked on this by accident! I <3 it

  • Kix and Ronnie hit #15 in Billboard, 11-99. God bless ya, for postin' it! Thanx!

  • this is the best version of this song i love brooks and dunn to bad there going there separete ways

  • Anything Ronnie Dunn sings is great!!!

  • @wjelliott598 that is soooo true

  • love it!!!!!

  • a perfect remake...brooks has a voice yet to be copy...my qrestion is why has dunn been around so long...brooks cleary is the leader, band, voive...????

  • @dollyscotter12 you mean Dunn is the lead voice.

  • @dollyscotter12 First of all, It's Ronnie Dunn you're talking about. He kind of became the lead singer. Brooks is Kix Brooks, the guy who does the background vocals and miscellaneous lead guitars. He had a more vocal intensive part of the group ten or fifteen years ago than he has lately, but he still sings songs for the group, and he does the vocals now... plus he is the leader of the band. Next time you have a question, you might want to let it go.

  • @dollyscotter12 you mean Ronnie Dunn is the leader. its Ronnie Dunn singing this song, not Kix Brooks.

  • wow its like the original song had sex with its sister...and this is the outcome...

  • Kix @02:29 is he the man or what

  • Awesome song!!!!!

  • Great Video !!!! Enjoy !!!

  • Um ew, I do NOT like this version. Sorry.

  • Great cover.

  • this id a good version would love to hear travis tritt doin it

  • What a complete joke.

  • Great version but damn that chick at 2:27 is fugly.

  • jack norris??? sing?? ahahha .. bad version ..

  • @ENIRION who is jack norris?

  • sorry chuck norris

  • @Danklin24 who is Mike Jones?

  • @weenusmusic Who? Who mentioned Mike jones?

  • ¡¡ HAAAAA PERO QUE GAYS SE VEN !!

  • LOVE IT.

  • sounds like redneck is singin

  • Bad version!!!

  • They put their own twist to it. I think that every artist is allowed to do that. After all, it wouldn't be any fun if every version of this song was a total duplicate of the original. They did, however, maintain the phone booth theme from the original John Waite music video.

  • You're right. Although this is a bland cover, they still are doing their own spin on the song.

  • You couldn't keep that comment to yourself? Just saying...

  • what year was this?

  • Brooks & Dunn version is from 1999;

John Waites version is from 1984

  • love this version!

tina turner also has a version fo this song...no matter which artist it's a great song :)

  • Der Sänger und der Gitarist erinnern mich an Schwule Country Sänger lol. Die Version ist nicht so gut wie das von John Waith wie ich finde, aber das ist ja geschmachksache!

  • I love this version, just love the way they sing it

  • um wheres the "at all"?

  • I didnt know they did a version of this song. SWEET!

  • @crazybrowsdj its so unique to all of the other versions i never noticed it was the same song

  • actually i like this version better.

its got more melody to it in the singing

  • LOL!!

  • Are you stu[id? Seriously? Like country or not Ronnie Dunn has an awesome voice. This version is better, and your retarded for that stupid ass coment

  • socialist

  • grand threft auto is where i heard this song and now its my favorite (:

  • Brookes and Dunn are very good at what they do, but this song belongs to John Waite and though many have tried no one has done it (or will ever do it) better. NO ONE. EVER.

  • I really like country, but seriously Brooks and Dunn took it, slaughtered it, then caught it on fire. That was so bad I had to stop it just to put in this comment.

  • killa comment . fuck yeh i slightly jolted back from the lappie thinking wt fuck ? ?

  • original is way better lolz

  • are they gay and is the blonde a tranny?

    not that i mind.. tho

  • original is much better

  • No it's not, but you are entitled to your opinion.

  • fake clip, bad acters

  • Beautiful video...

  • i think these guys are great, but they do not capture the emotion of the song the original is so much better

  • chuck norris' brother?

  • I saw these guys in concert about 5 years ago... excellent. Country concerts are sometimes downers but kix and ronnie really rocked it out.

  • @olecotse Tight Rope

  • does john waite even sings this

  • Of course, he was the one that made it. Everybody else sings it for him though.

  • beatiful redneck

  • Who would have thought?

  • Way to butcher a classic Bad English tune, hillbillies.

  • don't be a jackass. they did a good job, and it wasn't even Bad English, as John Waite was on his own at the time, so before you insult a good job of a great song, have your facts in order. Oh, and by the way, those "hillbillies" have more hits and number 1s than John Waite or Bad English, douchebag.

  • #1 singles don't indicate talent or quality. The macarena was a hit single, and Soulja Boy has hit singles, and I think you and I can both agree that both of those suck. What defines a hit depends on the tastes of the public more than actual quality.

  • Um...don't the public decide who gets a hit single? Yeah..yeah they do. And Brooks and Dunn have been around forever, have a lot of number 1s and a lot of hit albums. If you knew about them, or even googled them before this comment, you would know that. They are the most established and talented duo in country music history.

  • I just stated that about the public in my comment, or did you skim over my comment until you found something to bitch about? yes, I know how long they've been around. I'm not musically illiterate. I just have far more discriminating tastes than 90% of the population. And you care WAY too much about the opinion of a stranger on the internet than any sane person should.

  • Well, congratulations for being a nonconformist..I guess that makes you better than everyone. I am a songwriter and an artist, and if you had written "it is my opinion that #1 singles don't indicate talent or quality," or, "it's my opinion that what defines a hit depends on the tastes of the public more than quality," that would be a different tale, but that fact is, you stated it to be fact. But isn't it a fact that the tastes of the public decides what is quality? If not, who does?

  • If I said it, it's obviously my opinion. And I'm a songwriter too, as well as having been a musician for half my life. But here's something that's a fact: you care way too much about my opinion.

  • It's not your opinion that I care about. As a songwriter, it bugs me when anyone, especially a songwriter, comes on here and insults another musician, especially one in the upper echelon. We shouldn't insult people on the top, we should aspire to be like them. Soulja Boy, while I don't like his music, he sells a lot of albums and makes a lot of money, and he loves what he does. I can't hate on him for that. As a musician, why would you hate on a fellow musician..especially one on top?

  • exactly! i feel it's one thing to not like a musicans style or songs, but to bash em and say that they arent any good, when they're legends like brooks and dunn. . . well, it doesnt sound to intelligent. i know that country and rock stars do respect one another. even if their musical genres are different.

  • you have a point, but in the case of brooks and dunn, they do have chart topping hits and are known as country legends with a huge fan base. so, yes, on the one hand, #1s dont always = talent. but they made several hits, and i believe that makes them a very talented duo.

  • very good point. :) i'm a fan of john waite's version, and brooks & dunn. the duo are country legends. if you dont like country, thats one thing, but they are both highly respected music artists. another great variation is the john waite and alison krauss duet. awesome video. you may want to check it out if you havent already.

  • No..I haven't...that does sound like it'd be a good one. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

  • Way to spread your elitist comments, yuppie.

  • How about a ultimate remake of this song with Allison Krauss, John Waite, Brooks and Dunn, and Tina Turner?

    I would love this one.

  • I didnt know chuck norris sings, he is great!

  • jajajajajaja good

  • Ya know jonjuan03, now that you mention it, I do see the resemblence.

  • Another great version of this song.

  • This version is good, but I prefer the original by John Waite. Love the video though, puts it in terms we can all relate to.

  • i agree on the video. its a great song regardless of who sings it but yeah john waite rocks

  • thats my friggin cousin playing the cab driver in this vidd!!!!!

  • I like this version the most, but john waite's isn't bad at all!

  • brooks and dunn version is better then John Waite's byfar

  • the original by John Waite was better...

  • I LOVE YOU RONNIE. this song is the best song out of all their songs. keep the good songs rolling guys!!!!!!!!

  • best version

  • I really think this is the best version of this song.

  • thanks- i've been waitin awhile for the video... by far the best version of this song!

  • Love this song!
