They need to learn how to be a pack (social skills discipline!), how and what to hunt, how to raise the young. They were raised by humans and have a mindset as oriented to the human world as you have. Two years ago I spotted two huge wolves in Iran, while I was getting into a cave for advanture. I was shocked and I couldn't move forward or back off. Amazingly they just looked at me and went out of the cave from other side of the cave. In that area of Iran the province of Zanjan wolwes are so big and scary, but after that event and seeing this clip I love and respect the wolves.
