I have a BMW 328 2011 and I do exactly the same as the Audi Q5 in this video .... this video is pathetic, has no difficulty. Any person with your car every day could do the same. Also I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Jeep CJ5 1983 and a lot of walking out of the way .... This video does not require the SUB

This is not a tough terrain! Your Q5 can handle much more difficult climbs.

sani pass is a pretty hard core road. Surprised that a rather low clearance car such as the q5 can do it. Our Disco 4 has trouble from time to time.

im pleasantly surprised. i didnt think the Q5 was capable of that. I thought at most muddy dusty trails and thats about it. Glad to know my Q5 can go off road if I need it to :)

@MASEK360, off course its not the main goal, but it is always of interest to see what you can and can't do? An SUV is supposed to be capable of light and irregular off-roading.

@beckhoffsa ah yes, like i saw a video of a bmw x6 off road and i don't think it was meant for that because the x6 is even mory sports built SUV not an off roader and i saw people commenting, ''it fails what it's made for'' and I think that's ignorant

@MASEK360 its meant to be able to take terrain that is slightly more challening than roads, but not a full off-road capable vehicle

Why did I take it through the pass, or why did I buy it?

Its a very capable car off road, if handled correctly - and a very sporty drive on the road. You almost dont notice the fact that its an SUV. And.... Its an Audi!

i never knew that it would be a good off roader, seems more like a sport suv for strictly on road. I dont know if I would want to take it though because i would be scared to ruin it. But i love audis!
