The miracle you describe is also known as blooming. The sun is an extremely bright source and you just cannot set the exposure on it, so the final image is over exposed. If you read the manual of the camcoder you will find it's not advisable to point it directly to the sun for two reasons: you can damage the sensor and if you're looking at it through the viewfinder you can damage your eyes permanently. When sunset comes, the phenomenon is less noticeable since the sun is not as bright as before.

I'm not sure if I believe in Medjugorje or not. I'm devoted to the Blessed Virgin, but I read somewhere that the visionaries said Mary told them that these would be her last apparitions on Earth. Well, since then she has made many more apparitions on Earth to other people. I'm just not so sure if the visionaries are telling the truth or not. And Vicka acts like a celebrity. I want to believe though.

It looks like a defect of your video camera. When luminance is too high (saturation) the images appear black. Movements are of the camera and not of the sun. Nothing of strange is visible in the video. Moreover as far as I know there is no confirmation from the church authorities about miracles in Medjugorje. BE CAREFUL PLEASE.
I have an explanation for this. It happens with cameras and video when things are TOO bright just as you said in the beginning. A digital camera has a electronic image sensor that converts light into an electronic signal. If an object is very bright, it can overwhelm the sensor and cause a black dot to appear. @pelicanus11 The reason you 'saw these things' is that cameras are built like the human eye and would react in a similar fashion. There is no way you can look directly at the sun and confirm this with the naked eye anyway. Do a youtube search of 'black dot in sun' and you'll see this isn't unique.

The miracle you describe is also known as blooming. The sun is an extremely bright source and you just cannot set the exposure on it, so the final image is over exposed. If you read the manual of the camcoder you will find it's not advisable to point it directly to the sun for two reasons: you can damage the sensor and if you're looking at it through the viewfinder you can damage your eyes permanently. When sunset comes, the phenomenon is less noticeable since the sun is not as bright as before.

its a partial solar eclipse, so what? and the "beams of light?" the reason you can usually only see these once on film is the fact that light is polarized perpendicular to the path of light. Basically this is the same principle by which "polarized" sunglasses work. If you wear them properly they block ALOT of sunlight, if you were to try and look through them if you turned them 90 degrees they would be far less effective if you tried looking through them, not to mention you would look silly :)

I'm not sure if I believe in Medjugorje or not. I'm devoted to the Blessed Virgin, but I read somewhere that the visionaries said Mary told them that these would be her last apparitions on Earth. Well, since then she has made many more apparitions on Earth to other people. I'm just not so sure if the visionaries are telling the truth or not. And Vicka acts like a celebrity. I want to believe though.

I think this video is not a proof.
It looks like a defect of your video camera. When luminance is too high (saturation) the images appear black. Movements are of the camera and not of the sun. Nothing of strange is visible in the video. Moreover as far as I know there is no confirmation from the church authorities about miracles in Medjugorje. BE CAREFUL PLEASE.

I have an explanation for this. It happens with cameras and video when things are TOO bright just as you said in the beginning. A digital camera has a electronic image sensor that converts light into an electronic signal. If an object is very bright, it can overwhelm the sensor and cause a black dot to appear. My God... here we go again, I can make the miracle with my battery light and cheap camera whenever I wan't. Whenever the Sun is up, from whatever place on Earth... The people believe what they wan't to believe and that's it. If they want to believe that they see miracle in an electronic fail of their cheap camera pointed at the strong light source they will believe it. They will never ask how the damn camera works.

@pelicanus11 The reason you 'saw these things' is that cameras are built like the human eye and would react in a similar fashion. There is no way you can look directly at the sun and confirm this with the naked eye anyway. Do a youtube search of 'black dot in sun' and you'll see this isn't unique.
And I agree with baragentledragon, you are quite judgemental calling other people 'damn stupid non believers' and having 'stupid minds'. Your un-christian-like hate permeates you message.
