  • Cool nite that would have been,Farner was an influence & I am a big fan of JLT but in this particular track I'd agree,Mark say's alright not Joe Lynn.

Farner can still energize a stage!!

  • hey kids the key word is love.thanks mark farner you are dynamite.

  • Mark can still do his stage act better than most bands out there. Footstompin, you bet he can. Grand Funk was one of the most active-on-stage bands ever, and Mark can still do it just fine thank you.

  • Pure extasy

  • Thats reel rock and roll. Not like todays music.Long live mark.

  • Turner looks like an unemployed pole dancer. What the hell is he doing there ? Still waiting for that call from Ritchie Blackmore, Joe ?

  • Strats are light, too. I have herniated discs in my lower back and neck. I played a Les Paul Special, and that thing weighs as much as an UV. But the guy can play a Strat or PRS. They aren't heavy. That Parker looks like giant paper clip and sounds like a toy. It's crap. Embarrassing, if you ask me, and I know excruciating back and neck pain..I know it well.

  • Mark is unique!! always my idol!! nobody sings like him so higher and nobody plays so good the guitar like him!! is an authentic rock hero!!!

  • I was into them back in the early 70s, then lost track till now.

Wonderful to see and hear him... Love that Voice!!

  • Joe Lynn got into music because of his love of Mark and GFR seeing them in NY in the early 70s.

  • The Guy can still sing great and he doesn't even have to tune down to E flat or even lower like most guys his age. Pretty awesome, keep on rockin' Mark!

  • Mark is the law!!

  • Why was Joe Lynn there? And no, he doesn't look like a middle-age woman, long live long hair (although Mark needs to wear his hair DOWN)

  • Mark still has strong voice hard to beleive as long as he has been rockin

  • Mark Farner is just true rock.

  • Now Turner looks like a middle-aged woman

  • I agree with the comment about the band Mel and Don tour with. NOT the Grand Funk. This is not bad footage of a great performance.

I am no musician, and I know Mark's really into Parkers now, but I'd love to see him use that Gibson L5-S you see on Caught In The Act.

  • he's into Parkers because they're light. He had surgery on his back a long time ago and was adviced not to put to much weight on his shoulders.

  • They are "superb"too.............

  • In addition to Steve Luongo on drums, the band contains Jeff Ganz (bass) and Ken Levinsky (keybooards).

  • ...and Mark Hitt (guitar)

  • great vid!!! by the way these are not statues most of these guys are well known professionals.Drummer steve luongo very well known in tri state area and also played in john entwistle band for years.great show!!

  • Warning:After watching Mark, dont watch the cover band calling themselves Grand Funk Railroad, or you will be put to sleep quickly...Replacing Mark with three statues is never a good idea....

  • Phenomenal! What a criminally underrated musician and all-out rocker.

  • Rock is still ALIVE !!!!! ..... Mark Farmer One of the BEST !!!

  • Unreal! Mark stil rocks - age has nothing on him. His voice is still one of the best! Thanks for posting this current clip on him. Geez, can't get over how great he still sounds!!

  • Mark, one of the greatest american rockers ever...still kicks ass at 59 years old!

  • The Rock Patriot is the Footstompin Funkmaster. GFR is generic without him.He keeps getting better , they keep getting worse

  • THE Mark Farner - still - is some kind of wonderful! I think he does great for an (almost) 59'er!! Hope he rocks on for a long time! Thanks for the video!

  • Way COOL! Mark really Shines no matter whose backing him up!

  • i was there yoo!front row!!

  • Back in 71....I was in the front row. (not reserved seats) BUT as soon as Grand Funk hit the stage, front row became history. Can you imagine how disappointed I was? The crowd at the Chicago Ampitheatre just went wild when GFR came on to the stage. I ended up in like....the fifth row. Oh was I disappointed. I waited three hours in that front row, to see my favorite all time band.
