  • You have amazing work, I am just starting out here, I was wondering if you could help me figure out what type of compressor (currently using Iwata Smart Jet) to use with my airbrush (currently Badger user). Not very happy with either of the two, and many folks around here have been recommending compressors in the $500-$700 price range. Any help is greatly appreciated. Love the work, truly skilz, thanks so much, peace, G

  • Okay, the outtakes are awesome. Haha.

  • what age were you when u started airbrushing?

  • I TEACH AIRBRUSHIN ALSO GREAT TIPS BRO

  • I TEACH AIRBRUSHIN ALSO GREAT TIPS BRO

  • this music is really annoying

  • How much can you sell one painting for?

  • Thanks heaps for uploading. These videos are awesome!

I'm always amazed how you show how a simple improvisation can make such a difference to the piece you're working on. :-)

  • @tmartin417 Airbrush that he has is a 113C RichPen. and they cost around $150 - $200. not $400.

  • Nice ending, lol, good job, wish I could paint like that.

  • you pour sap!

  • Nice ending

  • Hi Ed is the broom touching the art work or is it just a tad off the surface ??

  • son of a bitch. so oh man., are you kidding me? jesus. so it was that easy all along. think of all those projects i screwed up cuz that fine detail i tried at. ya too bad i didnt see this 3 years ago. n e way. mad props i seen a few of your movies. and and at that. mad props and damn that grain......

  • thats jokes the woodgrain bloopers at the end....holy.

  • hey Ed where do u get your paint bottles from ive been looking everywhere but i cant find any.

  • lol Rednecks airbrush?!

  • Why are you stealing vids from ed?

  • is the camera man off his face on the fumes, its all bullshit, Michael English would be turning in his grave.who is this tool ?

  • Thanks once again Ed for all your help. I have the Iwata HP-C and use Createx for practice. I have tried every combo of paint, reducer, and air pressure but it never flows good for long. Also, when I move the trigger forward, it gives an extra burst of paint which screws things up. Any ideas, and would you recommend using HOC paints, but aren't they all urethanes? They say they are pre mixed, but for what tip size? Thanks again.

  • Hi...that was stunning...what is the model you are using for the Airbrush ? can you suggest me please...

  • it was a funny ending :D

  • your compressor makes moisture so you need an iwata moisture trap i have one and i love it

  • is that an universal piece to place on every compressor or is it only iwata stuff??

  • @TheArsong It actually hooks up to your airbrush, not the compressor. It shouldn't be specific to iwata.

  • thanks ,.. will look for such a thing cause i have a water cup on the compressor but there is still sometimes water with the spray grr

  • Well I think I've watched everyone of your videos! Can't wait to add airbrushing to my own art work... Thank you so much for taking the time to make all of these videos....

    aj freeze (dot) com

  • eres bueno tio

  • I was promised wood grain.

  • i have a question when i air bush for longer then 5 mins my air brush starts stitting like water and i cant do fine lines after what can i do to stop this

  • get of the paint of the needle if you dont do it or your paint wasn't good in proportion with water... you put to much water!

  • thin your paint down and adjust your air pressure, make sure your airbrush is very clean

  • Thanks for doing multiple takes. Adds a level of professionalism, and pride in your video that you seldom see on youtube! great techniques too! i'll be using the wisk broom to create grains of hair...... ?

  • he used black so its easier to see the feathers on the eagle dicktards, and to also see how well those rivets werk on a black backing, use your own backings if it does you den. Complaining fags

  • Thanks Ed

Just used the rivets on my 1st project came out really good

Thanks and keep up the great work

    G

  • If I made a video I'd name it "awesome" too!

  • its awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeee hina , from pakistan

  • Why doesnt the paint smear when you drag the broom across or move around the stencil?

  • When you spray it on that thin, the solvents evaporate so fast, its basically dry in less than a minute.

  • he doesnt hold the broom on the paint u retard

  • leipo

  • Those outtakes are classic!!!!!!!!!..LOL

  • That's really neat.

  • Eagles have hair?

  • where do you come from,

  • wood grain lol

  • awsome dude!!!

  • oh dude this is so freaking educational. Thanks for posting it. Gotta use you tube for something better than watching tv bloopers...ummm, nevermind.

  • Ed hubbs Rulz man he's the daddy !

  • Thanks,nice vid.I saw 3 differents pistols used.A Iwata hp-c I thought .What the are others?And what paint he used,especially the white?(btwWhen I use white I have a lot tip-dry!)

  • what kind of pressure does he run his airbrushes at?

  • Ok, I'm gonna take this wood gain...HA just perfect...

Love the techs...Definitely work with them.

  • Hes using a single action airbrush. Probably around 150 to 200. IMO if your into models I would use double action. But this is VERY informitive.

  • how much is da airbrush he is using?

  • I think that airbrush is like $400, not positive though.

  • Thanks for the reply I will go lookup sata I was looking at the Iwata Eclipse for myself.

  • What airbrush is he using?

  • Ed uses SATA airbrushes mainly, but switches it up sometimes and uses Iwata, I'm not sure of the exact model, sorry.

  • what did you use to paint on?

  • Ed used a metal panel, primed it and base coated it black.

  • where can i buy that....cud i just use a canvas panel and paint it black and leave it dry and then paint the eagle?

  • Yeah, the medium you paint on isn't that important, a canvas panel would work great, the reason he paints on a metal panel is to basically simulate painting on a motorcycle tank or car hood.

  • Thanks alot your great. im trying this progect tomrow. if you know where i could find other step by step projects do u mind telling me? tommorow ill airbrush my canvas pannel black wait 10 mins and start my eagle!!!

  • Thanks man! Good luck with your project. If you look at my profile I have a video we produced a long time ago on airbrushing carbon fiber and the video on airbrushing the wolf bike tank can give you some pointers on painting wolves. I'll be producing more of these in the future so keep checking my profile. Thanks for watching.

  • Yah, if you go to my profile find my friend EdHubbs and click on his page. He has even more tutorial stuff I've produced for him. Also, you can click on his group and find some more tutorials from other artists. Take care.

  • thanck you, your a pal very generous, learned something went to your site after seeing the carbon video, its in my faves now, cant wait for the wood grain video.
