Actually, that's not correct. Not being flush, meant that the screen is slightly lower than the bezel around the screen. There are no gaps between the screen and the body.

A more probable reason for Sony recessing the screen like that, was to protect it.

meaning the screen and the body are seperated. Meaning, there are gaps between the edge screen and the edge of the body. The purpose for this is to scroll the page with the bar on the side.

Its actually the best smart phone there is! well in my opinion but maybe factual 'cause it has-both keys and touch, micro.office,fastest processor for a phone,gps,radio,bluetooth,vide­ocall, and the coolest feature is that u can use ericsson's watch for both devices to communicate with each other!

Black; it looks nicer and, there is a design flaw in the silver version. The casing around the stylus holder tends to crack, however, the black version doesn't due to the rubberized coating.

Just wondering, though, you said that this phone is the Xperia X1i that runs on AT&T's 3g network...I understand that it will work on AT&T's 3g Network because it uses the 1900 frequency, but would the X1a (being officially talked about on the 3rd of November) work even better? That means the screen is recessed under the frame. In contrast,the iphone and the htc touch pro have a flush screen, meaning the screen is on the same surface and level of the rest of the device.
