  • GMC is best

  • they don't show the inside? WTF? lol. ANYONE OWN ONE OF THESE?

  • i have a GMC DENALI 2011

  • What a stiff...

  • Wonder if this guy still has a job? I mean this video was made before gas prices headed up. GM and Chrysler are the Edsel of the new millenium. GM was developing the Yukon and Toyota and Honda were quietly developing something called a hybrid. People in Detroit fucked up!!

  • Yukon is a boring SUV. Yukon Denali is a luxurious, nice SUV. Yukon Denali is more like Escalade. Yukon is more like Tahoe.

  • yukon and tahoe are the same. just like silverado and sierra.

only difference is the facia and the GMC/chevy symbol

  • I know.

  • they get decent mileage for such a big truck. my '88 suburban gets about 12 mpg, but chevy does know how to make fuel efficient vehicles I also have an '86 chevy sprint that averages about 44 mpg, and my '00 blazer gets 22-24mpg

  • 2000 Chevy Blazer - 17 miles per gallon (15 city, 20 highway)

    1986 Chevy Sprint - 34 miles per gallon (30 city, 40 highway)

    1988 Chevy Suburban - 12 miles per gallon (10 city, 14 highway)

I looked them up. Don't overestimate your cars' MPG.

  • I'm not over estimating I'm telling you what I get. all my cars use K&N air filters and royal purple oil, my sprint got 51 mpg on a 250 mile road trip this weekend. don't know what sprint you looked up mine gets about 38 city, I have the 1L with a 5 spd manual not the 4 spd or the 3 spd auto

  • 12mpg is not good neither is 24 mpg rangerover sports do 30

  • range rover sports do 30? is that the diesel version without the seats, doors and roof filled with fat people while rolling downhill?

30 MPG? Come on. Did you accidentally add the 0?

  • lol good one. Range Rovers get less than this.

  • my bad 27mpg on the 2.7

  • you cant compare a weak 2.7 v6 with a 6.0 v8. Put a 2.7 in anything and its gonna get 25+ mpg. I have a scooter with a 2.7 that shits so weak.

  • I have an 07 tahoe and i havnt had 1 problem with it.

  • @HakemEX My moms Range Rover sometimes got 30 High way if you did 50ish but normal driving it was more 8/13 when i was driving and my jeeps about the same :/

  • I hate the song that starts at 4:52

  • Woah! Woah! "Better fuel economy than Toyota, than Nissan, than Ford" - Not true, "Improve fuel economy on these new vehicles". The truck gets about 15 miles per gallon. Toyotas, depending on which MPG, range from about 16 miles per gallon (4Runner, Tundra) to 46 miles per gallon (Prius). GMC is... I think... 14 to... 19? Unbelievable that car companies are lying about their car fuel economy... even the Corolla! They say it's gonna get 35 in 09, maybe 35 on highway, but maybe about 25 in city.

  • I have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and 2006 Lexus GX470. Out of the three, I like my Cadillac truck the most. It's so nice inside with luxury inside flying at you. Not to brag, but it is a great truck. The "best-in-class highway fuel economy"... well the Escalade gets 19mpg on the highway as a 2WD vehicle and 18mpg on the highway as a 4WD vehicle. This is better than its non-luxurious siblings, the GMC Yukon and Chevy Tahoe, but not by much... Yukon headlights suck.

  • now the only real difference in a cad escalade and a yukon denali are: a down tune engine only by 22hp difference, ac seats,a watch that looks kinda cheap on the dash board(cad escalade model) and lots of cadillac emblems...for 11-15k more this is what you get and a suv that everybody has. WoW.......

  • thanks. Yea I knew that the Yukon was VERY similar to the Tahoe and the Yukon Denali was VERY similar to the Escalade. It was just a difference in price by a few thousand dollars. But they are pretty similar, right?

  • fair enough...

  • cal2k9 i strongly disagree I mean i have a 2007 GMC YUkon Denali XL and I love it!! The build quality is great! Don't be hating on American cars! GM and Ford build some of the best cars around! don't underestimate American cars you dumb ass!

  • i agree man...american suvs are the best cars in the world!!

  • They lied. The GMC Yukon XL gets 15 combined MPG. The GMC Yukon gets 17 combined MPG. The Yukon Denali gets 14 combined MPG. The 2008* Yukon Hybrid gets 21 combined MPG, but they weren't talking about that. At all. Oh yea and also, the music in the background sucks shit. It would be ok for four seconds, but not eight minutes.

  • Nice attitudes guys. There's proof that the end of the oil supply is in sight and that it's very likely that co2 emissions are killing the planet, yet you don't give a rats ass driving your high and mighty gas pig SUV. Pathetic. No wonder hybrid drivers are stuck up. They're just trying to out do how stuck up you clowns are.

  • your stupidity is amusing since global warming isnt real, and also i bet youve never driven one, because no matter how much of a globalwarming freak you are you really cant hate the denali. its impossible.

  • Ahh, just the proof I needed to see what a hick American you are. The Denali is shit, end of story. Obviously it's very possible to hate them since I flip off every person I see driving one.

Oh, and the ice caps are just melting because they feel like it. It has nothing to do with the amount of greenhouse gas emissions... Moron. Even the magazines say the Yukon has "barely" acceptable fuel economy for our modern age. But you're an ignorant tool so this will fall on deaf ears..

  • You're the type who has his head up your ass so far that you think that the war on terrorism is being won and will be won, and that going to war with Iran would be a good thing. How's your shit economy with your idiot Republican president treating you? Oh, you also like Rush Limbaugh. I may be Canadian but even I know what a piece of shit he is. Enjoy your soon to be $120 fill ups in that shitbox.

  • Shitbox, ok buddy, first of all global warming isn't real, secondly i am not a "hick", thirdly we are winning the war, and fourthly, shitbox? You obviously dont have the money to afford such an excellent truck, i just bought one and it is one of the most luxurious pieces of machinery i've ever been pleasured to own. It'll beat the shit out of whatever the shitbox you drive is, in anything exept fuel economy, which who gives a rats ass if i'm the one paying for my own premium fuel?

  • First of all, yes it is. 2nd, yes you ARE a hick. Thirdly, the war can't be won. Getting the fuck out is the only way to win it.

My 07 Mazda truck, ya you might beat it. My street legal 12 second Civic would make you cry I'd beat your ass so bad. I get 40 mpg highway, AND traps 107 mph in the 1/4 mile. HA!

  • Whoa, big deal... my porsche would kick your fucking ass any day. I am not a hick, I'm not from the south. And the denali is not a shitbox. The war can be won and is being won, and will be fucking won, and obviously you know you're wrong because A: you completely changed the subject because you have know knowledge to back it up. B: your from fucking canada.... YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT WAR IS!!!

  • You also obvously know i'm right about global warming, too, because all of a sudden i guess you dont want to argue about it because you know i have facts to back my claim and you dont know shit, and lastly, 107 mph in a quarter mile is shit! I would beat your ass in a straight line and completely merk you around a corner, plus nobody looks at your piece of shit civic.

  • And again, the Denali is so nice you cant even imagine because you drive a piece of shit mazda and another piece of shit civic. The interior of the denali is completely ensconsed in leather and it looks like a Bad ass motha fucka from the outside, way more than any POS you have.

  • HAHAH. You're a joke. The interior of the Denali looks like a 12 year old Mexican kid put it together.

I could care less if people ignore my Civic. 107 mph was only on 11 psi. The motor is fully built and it's totally street legal. If I felt like it, I could easily turn the boost up and loose enough weight in it to pump your Porsche. You probably have a Boxster and think you run shit because of it. Loser.

  • 12 year old mexican, huh, i bet youve never even seen the interior of a denali. Seriously, i'd put money on it. Stevie wonder could see that the interior is made of the finest quality materials money can buy. You're just mad because you're a global warming freak who thinks the world is going to end because my truck wastes to much gas. That and because you're jealous you cant afford a brand new denali and probably never will be able to afford one.

  • No, the world is not going to end and I know that. Do we have a potential problem? Absolutely. When people ignore the facts and keep up their habits as if they don't care, that's when I get irritated. Can I afford a Denali right now? No. Will I be able to? Most likely. I'd never buy an SUV ever though. No driving pleasure whatsoever. I drove a last generation Denali and thought it was a pile of garbage. The new one is nicer though...

  • More proof of how little you know about cars. 107 mph is decent considering that stock it ran 81 mph. It's still a work in progress. I'm a student and funds are limited. My truck is what it is. I bought it because when I fill it up, it takes 40 litres where as your wasteful shitbox SUV takes 95 litres. The end of the V8 is near. Soon, even assholes like yourself who ignore all the facts won't even be able to buy a V8 SUV anymore. I can't wait....

  • I know more about cars then you ever will, buddy. I'm not saying your time is bad, but your bragging because its 107mph, which is decent, granted, but nothing special. Its obvious you know nothing about cars, because 40mpg is barely possible on a stock civic, nevermind one with an engine that can make it run a quarter mile that quick.

  • We could debate automotive knowledge for hours on end but there's no point. I'm proud that the Civic went 107 mph because I did the work on it as much as possible (had help) and did it all while working and going to university. Once I'm done school, it'll be a full time drag car hopefully.

  • Oh and ps: The interior on the Mazda CX-9 looks 500X better than that of the Denali. Plus it seats 7, can actually go around a corner at speed and gets decent fuel economy. Your Denali can't do either of the last 2 mentioned. Your milage is pathetic and the thing handles like a 1927 Ford Model T.

  • Wow, what a dipshit. The Yukon has the tightest turning radius in its class, better than any other large suv, which was proven by car and driver, motor trend, and gmc itself. The Denali has a 385 horsepower and 420lb foot of torque, and can certainly corner at speed, it gets better skidpad results than any other ford vehicle your mazda is based on. The interior in the mazda is nice, granted, my cousin has one, but the denali is way better in every single thing it does, you cant even compare

  • The only correct point you have is the gas mileage, and quite frankly, i have the money to afford it, even if gas goes to 5$ a gallon.

  • if you have so much money why dont you upgrade to an escalade

  • Because I have money doesn't mean I'm stupid. The Escalade is a nice car, granted, but besides the fact that it has 20 more horsepower it's not different at all. And I'm not paying that much extra for a car that's no different. I'm into driving pleasure, not showing off, so there's no reason to pay 15 grand more for the same car just to tell people you have an Escalade.

  • Because I have money doesn't mean I don't use it wisely. I'm not going to pay 15 grand more for the same car just so I can show off an escalade, I'm about driving pleasure, not showing off.

  • oh, and ps: the interior on the gmc looks, feels, and is put togethor way better than your piece of shit ford, even if your mazda (ford) is nice for a car in its class. Your anemic V6 is shit and cant get out of its own way, because its a minivan with regular doors (a.k.a. crossover). My truck doesnt even compete with the mazda, so it would be stupid to even compare, because the GM is so much better.

  • Don't have the V6. I have the 4 cylinder. I'm a green freak remember? It's actually not that slow. Compared to my Honda of course, yes it's terrible. The Civic actually does get 40 mpg on the highway. My best ever is 48 mpg. The turbo does nothing at cruising speeds. Just sits there and spins, so unless I'm under full throttle it's a normal little 1.6L. True, a Porsche would be fantastic, but it's fast for what it is, and will only get quicker.

  • You know what, I respect that. Even though I don't believe in global warming, I really can't hold a grudge against something stupid like that. Ohh and the 4 cylinder isn't available in the US so thats why I didn't guess that you had one in you're Mazda. I actually took a look at my cousin's CX9 the other day, and the top of the line model is quite nice. And I hope you're Civic turns out to be a great drag car.

  • It's a work in progress. I'm happy with how fast it is in daily driver trim, especially since I've done all the work on it while going to university/college. Once I'm done school in the next few months and actually acquire a decent job, hopefully I'll have some real money to blow on it.

Interesting how this conversation has turned out. I too looked at the interior of the newest Denali and am impressed with the improvements over the old one. It's much much better.

  • Yea, I agree a lot. My 2001 Denali doesn't compare to my 08'. Power, yes, but the interior in the 01' was exactly the same as the base $19000 GMC sierra, aside from leather seats and navigation. And yea it is interesting how this conversation has turned out, sorry I went off on you before, ya know? I guess I was just kinda pissed that day or something.. Yea anyways it was nice talkin to you.

  • Ill save my money to buy a chevy volt but theirs nothing wrong with having some fun. Besides for all that power and almost getting 20mpg on the highway, it is better than my 01 Yukon LT right now and I need it to haul my family around with MX gear. I am very environmentally friendly with having solar electricity and If I want a beastly car then I'm gunna get it.

  • Gas guzzling POS.

  • better than 08 Expedition and Sequoia for the power, but yea wait for the yukon/tahoe hybrid it still has 6.0L and gets 20mpg

  • It actually has the 5.3 litre V8 from the regular Yukon, but close enough...

  • Who cares if it guzzles gas? I have an 07 Denali, it gets only 13 mpg but i dont care, i'm paying for it and its got nearly 400 horsepower, which blows by any of its competition. I'd rather have a 600 horsepower engine and get 6mpg than have a 200 horsepower engine and get 20 mpg.

  • Agreed I am environmental enough with adding the solar panels to my house.

So I am looking to buy 07 denali in next month or two, any pointers??

  • I highly recommend the GMC to anyone. Even just the base Yukon and Chevy Tahoe are great vehicles, if you dont need the 50 extra horses (which i cant think of any reason why anybody would need them, but they are nice to have though.) The Denali is the top of the line GM truck besides the Escalade, which besides the body paneling and some dashboard changes, is no different.

  • the 6-speed auto delivers excellent shifts, the engines power is astounding if you really push it yet civilized if you dont, and its just a really great truck. The only options i'd recommend is the navigation system and the 22 inch rims. the nav's touch screen and also has a back up camera, and the 22's look great. But the Denali is so great just stock out of the factory, it really doesnt need much else.

  • Also, They keep there value and are very reliable, too: I traded in my 01' denali for it, it had 95000 miles on it and never had a problem
