Somebody who really digs r 'n' r should make a movie about Link and his brothers and their music...the soundtrack alone would make it classic but with stuff like Bunker Hill and gang fights while the Raymen were playing in dangerous nightclubs...can you imagine?
Why oh why did I not hear this single when I was a kid? This is the penultimate example of the kind of thing that got my blood up when I was around 7 or 8. I would have went completely nuts for this ~~
@spib65 Allegedly Bunker Hill did play with Link & the Raymen on a few shows in the D.C. area in the early 60's. So, a few lucky souls did witness this incredible shit.
I agree with waylo4526 that this guy makes Little Richard sound like Little Eva! I love Link Wray too! This song certainly woke me up! Thanks to Dennis for sharing and to markowee for posting it!
OH MY GOD?!... Not sure if this is better than even his legendary "hide and go seek". Doesn't matter though. What an INCREDIBLE voice! What a killer track!. Makes Little Richard sound like, er, Tinky Winky! Man, I gotta play this again. By the way, anyone else think they should play this to ppl who need to come out of a coma? And don't you just adore that intro!? Listen, who's ever is out there and has this shit, PLEASE post more B. Hill and similar wild rock and roll! I'm done.
CRAZY!!!!
