Everyone's different on how tough they are on their shoes, so I would be hard pressed to tell you how fast you would wear them out. That said, based on my experience, they are more durable than the Vapor 8, and come with a durability guarantee as well.
I'm still cant decide between these and the 2.3 or the Barricade 6. I have a normal foot width and arch. Comfort while I think all are good so speed and stability are my next priorities. Any thoughts please? Thanks in advance TW!
@ductrung3993 I've tried all 3, and my overall favorite would be the Air Court Ballistec 2.3. It has the comfort, the speed, the stability that you're looking for. The Barricade 6 is the most durable, the Propulse 3 probably feels most speedy, most low-to-the-ground. But my favorite is the 2.3
@tenniswarehouse tks a ton Jason. I go out and have a look at the Propulse today, the upper was too soft that worries me. Perhaps I should go and find the 2.3 then =D
Hi! It's me again...please help me...I play two times a week..one day in hard courts and the other in clay courts...should i buy the clay version or the hard court one?
@MrCarlosnarvaezmd Ideally, you should purchase one for each type of surface. If you only get the clay court version, then it's going to wear out very easy on the hard court. If you get the hard court shoe, it won't be nearly as effective on clay.
@cptnvagina We recommend you go with some clay specific shoes. Try the Babolat Team Clay 4 or the Baboat V-Pro Clay. They have a more open tread pattern so the clay doesn't get lodged into it.
@cptnvagina I've never heard of sand as a playing surface. I would imagine you'd still want a clay specific shoe to play in because the sand can still get lodged in the outsole.
The outsole features Babolat's OCS tread design (developed by Michelin). There are many small cutouts in the tread pattern, but it is very different to the traditional herringbone tennis shoe tread design. On hard courts, the traction is very impressive. For me, these shoes were built to grip rather than last (great traction, not so great durability).
How fast do they wear out? faster than a Vapor tour 8?

why didn't jackson slide at 3:09? he could have got to the ball then

@GnrAndFallout
Sliding on hardcourts can be a bit dicey. I can't recall any of our play test staff that deliberately slides on our court.

@MrCarlosnarvaezmd
I have yet to see a clay court shoe with a durability guarantee. This one is no exception. Sorry.

Is Jackson using a fake bald head or real 1???
botakchee 10 months ago
@botakchee
He would be using a real bald head. I don't know where he got it, but it's definitely real;) If he lost a bet, he's not admitting it.
