In Britain sirens are used all the time even on low proirity calls for fear of being sued if involved in an accident and not using emergency warnings.

have you seen the outside of this truck? it is on a short wheelbase, going at high speeds and turning could flip it. I've seen this truck going faster than this speed and it isn't really smart, the truck swayed alot.
in Germany lights AND siren must be on to have special rights on the street. If u drive without siren eg and you cause an accident, you will habe many problems...
Only lights are allowed for securing an accidend scene.
maybe because even light and siren, you must STOP and check red lights. Just because you have them on, doesnt mean you can "bust a red light" you still have to check up. You cant get too caught up in the rush, you still must remain calm and pay attention.
i love being a firefighter i am glad i am going to school for more firefighting and i am goingot go to be a fireighter emt i love it it grar to save people lifes adn everything great video
same with police, Only use sirens during traffic or High priority calls dispatched, on 3rd shift we tend to use them rarely just because we dont want to wake anyone up, and at 3am nothin really happens
Haha wow, Molly Hatchet! I figured someone would've used that song Flirtin With Disaster for a Ride along, just didn't know where it was haha. Nice.

it is up to the single paramedic. if the are agresive users or not. and as you can see there is not alot of trafic, why use the siren then?
