I just recently bought NBA Jam: On Fire Edition from the Playstation Store and I am loving every minute of it. Just wish I could play as the announcer. Man that guy is funny.

@PTGKChrisHD Considering it's been a Year since NBA Jam came out. It wasn't worth for many to get it at Launch due to $50 Price Tag & later the $60 for the other Consoles.

If you never got NBA Jam, best stick to On Fire Edition with it's Price Tag compared to Console & Content, more enjoyable.

@Xzibitfreek Homecourt was such a disappointment, especially considering how good the series is. I mean, it was ok, for about a month, I even devoted time to get all but the 2 achievements (online). This looks way better because NBA JAM is supposed to be full contact with the ridiculous gameplay, and they lived up to it. Homecourt was bland and it seemed worn down.

continuing - - - - other than that, graphics, and sounds are awesome!!! but game play doesnt feel nothing like the original nba jam we grew up playing.... i guess i just have to get use to the newer nba jam

only thing i dislike about the game is that the buttons feel stiff... the original arcade and home counsel nba jam buttons were quickly active. as in when the button is pushed, the jump, shot, push the moment its pressed. now the newer nba jam delays a bit, i understand its kinda making it look realistic stalling, but im use to the quick classic gameplay... theres too much blocking, too much collisions when dunking... and another thing, when you throw a shove, the recovery time is wayyy to long.

Dont worry about the online play... this game fails miserably with or without it! NBA Jam 2004 on the PS2 and Xbox is a much better (and in my opinion) best version of the game with awesome incredible hilarious dunk animations, MUCH better graphics, and they kept the hotspots (which show up when you are on fire!)

This review can be a little misleading. While it's true that the Nintendo Wii's version doesn't support online mode, the PS3 and XBOX 360's versions on the other hand do support an online mode.

i got this game for xmas on xbox360 its pretty dope. this is a great game when u have friends over cuz its easy to pick up and play and its fun. 2k11 is a great game too but it is very difficult to just pick and play cuz there r so many plays/moves this and that. the r some issues i have w this game is no tag mode (wtf), u can't change the control layout, and the powerups r kinda weak
