Great sound, but the rear wheel pattern promotes aquaplaning, switch it around. I'm sure it was put up incorrectly.

TBE = Turbo Back Exhaust. Cat back is from a gc8 in japan, the dump and cat are from here in aus.

3" dump from turbo, goes into high flow cat (3" through", into 3" piping into resonator, then 3 1/4" piping to muffler with 4" tip. I brought the dump and Cat from my mechanic and he sourced the cat back complete 2nd hand from a importers, it came from a wrx in japan. I should get some better footage soon and put it up.

Not sure mate, if you want something to sound similar just get an exhaust shop to make the exhaust with no bends, as straight as possible.

Got the same engine in my Forester. Would love to have that exhaust and sound but it would ruin my ground clearance. I really only use my Forester for off roading.

The lowest point of my exhaust is the rear of the muffler, as you can see in this vid. The piping actually sits tight into the original exhaust hump through the chassis, then tight to the side of the gearbox. Good luck with getting the best of both worlds, sound and off-roading, im sure you can do it.

I think its mentioned here somewhere, but again my mechanic picked it up from SSS Automotive in Sydney for $300 cat back, it came off a wrx in japan and is very straight lol. Thanks for your comment

Kevdunkley1: I do not know mate, my mechanic got the cat back from SSS automotive in sydney, and they said it came from a WRX in japan. All the info i can give is its 3" dump from turbo, into highflow cat (not sure of brand) then it runs 3" to the resonator, and 3 1/4" from res to muffler. Very straight system.

I dont know lol, ill try get some new vid up soon, finally the engine has been serviced and had all good fluids put in, and i put a v2 sti ra ecu in, for some reason it just sounds even better.

Cheers, much appreciated. Am just having a V2 STI RA ECU put in to compliment the TD05H turbo, this should have the thing running an extra 3psi boost, and hopefully she'll get up and go alot better.
