  • @dongoldney yeah i also love this song and the film was also very good too, many thanks for your comment. Carl

  • @TheOldrecordclub I remember the movie , anyone remember the "scandal" the movie portayed? A child out of wedlock, was quite the issue in the day. My how times have changed.

I allways thought Lynn redgrave was lovely in the scene where she she turns to James Mason and says "say it properly" when he asks her to marry him.

  • @compaq2441 i have watched the film many times and never get bored with it,and i think this film really does capture the 60's in every sense, yeah and i also like that scene at the end of the film,it was a shame that "Lynn Redgrave" died a short while back, she was a good actress, thanks for your comment. Carl

  • Judith Durham has a voice like a bell... a golden bell... thanx for the post... Emmanuel!

  • @MrTheBrainbox Hey your very welcome, and your right Judith has a fantastic voice and she is one of my favourite singers of all time, thanks for watching. Carl

  • good stuff.... what a voice...... they just do not sing like this anymore....sad.

  • @goblue1967 yeah i have got to agree with you, they were a great band and "Judith" is an amazing lady, many thanks for your comment. Carl

  • I remember when the film came out in 1966. I was 16 (don't bother to do the math...!) and at the time in Canada, the movie was restricted i.e. you had to be 18 to get in. How tame now by today's standards. Thank you so much for posting and bringing back some great memories. A fabulous song by a great group!

  • @lovesmusic36 Hey thanks for watching,i have the film on DVD and i actually watched it the other night.its a great film and "The Seekers" were a great band.Glad you liked this one. Carl

  • Such a good song, please transport me back to swinging London

  • @Stanlio58 Ha Ha,yeah some parts of London are still swinging, but it's been some time now since i went back to my old stomping grounds, thanks for watching and for your comment. Carl

  • This song makes me feel so care-free like when I was little. when music was fun and had a story line to follow and music let us become emotionally attached forever.

  • @lorina627 yeah i know what you mean, its a great song and they are one of my favourite groups of all time.many thanks for watching. Carl

  • The unique sound of Judith Durham and the Seekers is so "happening," i can't stop listening to them all over again, I listen to Judith on a dauly bases, does she have children, they must be beautiful as she is...... Im in love!

  • @tom2020 Hi Tom,i know what you mean as i have always liked this lady,i'm not sure if she has any children of not,and she nursed her husband until his death, but i have heard she is such a lovely lady and i would have loved to have met her myself.i hear she has not been so well herself of late as she now has some lung problem but she still sings.thanks for watching and i have more of her songs on my folk channel where you can find the link on my main channel. Carl

  • @TheOldrecordclub I'd never heard about Judith's health problems. I *do* remember reading that a woman who once worked for her started stalking her in the '90's, sending faxes, letters, following her to concerts, and eventually repeatedly mailing doormats to her--42 in all--suggesting that Judith had treated her like one. Crazy!

  • @tukspeacepipes you lucky so and so Tuks,i would have loved to have met Judith.the seekers are one of my best bands of all time and i've always had a soft spot for Judith but then what man did not.thanks for watching. CARL

  • @VICSMELODIES hi Vic i have the film on DVD and watched it only the other week.what a great film it is and what a great singer Judith its. CARL
