The Ames Brothers brought me into my romatic years in 1949 when I was 16. Now Ed Ames keeps them going. He is so wonderful in every way. Voice, temperament, and humanly.
Now that I am 55 years old, this song has much more meaning to me than when I was about 10. Mom and Dad had the Ed Ames album with this song on it. I played it over and over. I loved the song back then, but really did not "appreciate" it. I do now. When you've found you're true love, that one and only girl, and spend a life time with here, songs like this take on a new dimension. It makes me very sentimental. It's kind of scary thinking about the "snow" on our own "roses" bearing down on us soon
I know what you mean - I feel "in love" with Ed Ames when I was about 14 (I'm 52 now), and played the album over and over. He's still as wonderful as ever.
Mr. Ames still "is".

Do you have "Timeless Love" from the same album? My mom had this stuff when I was a kid and I can't find that song anywhere to download.
