  • This is perfect for the ending of red dead redemption

  • @AustereRaptor Agreed :)

  • @BAxitorCH My intention was only to name a few titles to that particular person as there is no space here to mention Ennio's entire works.

  • @prodigytechus Say what? Have you ever heard his scores for these following movies? "Navajo Joe", "Orca, killer whale", "The big gundown", "The great silence", "Death rides a horse", "A fistful of dynamite", "The five man army", "Quemada", "The red tent", "The mission", "Companeros". "Once upon a time in America". And "Once upon a time in the west" has already been mentioned to you. Try listening to those and see why Ennio has so many fans commenting on his other works!!

  • @MrRoGill You forgot "Cinema Paradiso"..:), also "The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean"..

  • bravisimo best italowestern ever Clint eastwood legend

  • "Bravo."

  • i love this small tune thank you for putting it on

  • 'When the chimes end pick up your gun, just try and shoot me colonel'

  • that pocket watch was so bad-ass, when it starts you just think it's a typical musical watch but then a freaking orchestra starts playing and there's a bad-ass organ and guitar and shooting and awesomeness.

  • Bravo

  • "try to shoot me colonel, just try"

  • "When the chimes end, pick up you're gun, try to SHOOT me Colonel... Just try..."

  • beautiful song

  • Ennio Morricone was magnificiant in "Once Upon a Time in the West"

  • "when the chimes end, try and shoot me colonel.... just try"

  • most chiling intro in the history of music ENIO WILL LIVE FOR EVER THROUGH THESE MOVIES

    L E G E N T

  • Ennio Morricone (the composer) gave his best for the trilogy - somehow I did not like the rest of his compositions for other movies.

  • @prodigytechus I did like his soundtrack to "Mission To Mars". That was good.

  • @prodigytechus Once upon a time in the west and america! great themes.

  • @prodigytechus once upon a time in america was class

  • @prodigytechus Sorry, what about the others scores: The big gundown, My name is nobody, the guns for San Sebastian, Death rides a horse, etc, etc.. Have you listen them??

  • @prodigytechus Looks like someone hasn't seen Once Upon a Time in the West.

  • @prodigytechus what about the music for "Once Upon A Time in The West"?

  • @IHUGBLACKPEOPLE

Once upon a time in the west's more of a sad revenge tune, good but not stylishly aggressive.

  • @IHUGBLACKPEOPLE OUATITW has a very good score to it also, but the music in FAFDM just seems to convey strong human emotions throughout the entire movie.

  • @prodigytechus

Red Sonja was also very good....

  • @prodigytechus Spot on, the" trilogy "scores were a master piece. Never to be bettered.

  • @prodigytechus The entire soundtrack to Once Upon A Time In America is unbelievably good :P

  • @prodigytechus no way somebody disliked his l'arena music in the mercenary !

  • @swamigal

I disliked L'Arena totally. Didn't like it one bit, but I loved the score in Once Upon A Time In America. We all have individual tastes when it comes to tunes.

  • sorry I missed the like button...

  • when the chimes end, pick up youre gun...just try

  • it's called 60 seconds to what

  • Fucking Godly

  • Added Updated Version of this song....see annotation at 0:10

  • what about the song right after this one? with the epic horn

  • I found this to be a very sad sound. Like the sad end of a great and ful of epicness adventure. ):

  • @FoxHimura The beginning you do get a sense of that sadness-like sound, but when it goes back up after around 1:10, its epic as it can get. Eastwood baby.

  • Thanks mate did a great job with the editing, also it's the only one i could find with both watches in just like the film.

    :)

  • @THEPUNISHER1968 Yeah, I'm surprised that I didn't find one like it, so I figured "why not?" and put it here to listen.

  • @zzzzzzyyyy No it isn't it's called "Sixty seconds to what":)

  • Great movies!

  • Aw, who disliked this? Wish I knew how to find out lol

  • this is one of my fav films the end is epic the old films were the best

  • R.I.P. Lee Van Cleef.

    GREAT THEME!!

    And...

    R.I.P. Cinema.

  • This is nice and quite relaxing, I've only ever watched one western movie and that's this one, mostly good acting and feels good.

  • watched it when i was 5

  • Bravo

  • when the chimes end, pick up your gun... try and shoot me col en al... just try

  • I love how, in Sergio Leone's masterpieces, the music really DOES the movie! Without this beautiful songs, the movie would have never been the same...

  • it is a beautiful collaboration between music and film.

  • Why you cut it at 1.39.

  • @ProfRogers

Because I think the beginning is the best part and I like how it calms down in the end. There are alot of videos with this theme in full, but its mostly the pocket watch music thats important here. (Though whats great is you cant REALLY tell that its cut out at 1:39 to 1:40...)

  • @1800REDGENESIS that was a really good cut too; sounds just like the real thing - bravo

  • The Love Of a Woman. All Ran but Her..

  • great theme!! does anyone know its proper title??

  • @wat870

La Resa Dei Conti (Music Clock) as far as I know. I took this straight from the movie but I cut it off from the whole thing. Separate from 1:39 to 1:40. I just love this part, so silent yet epic when it picks up around 1:10. Thanks BTW to all who have been listening and the views.

  • When the chimes end pick up your gun, just try and shoot me Colonel, just try.

  • I love this piece of music. I've watched the film everytime it's been on the box just to hear it!

  • Legendary soundtrack, people know it even if they've never heard of the film.

  • so beatiful

  • "now we start"

  • very careless of you old man

  • Love this music! Bit quiet though :D

  • Hehe yeah, but thats what makes it powerful lol

  • YEAH! An erie silence.........with only the locket playing to keep in comfort in cold dark abyss!

  • damn i love this music...!!! the best music for greatest movies, it tears me eyes when i listen

  • 7,500 views...thanks guys, keep it going. Powerful piece of music.

  • [To Mortimer] When the chimes end, pick up your gun. Try and shoot me, Colonel. Just try it.

  • Epic Scene, just epic :)

  • "This is Colonel Mortimer, Douglas Mortimer. Does the name mean anything to you?"

  • Brings tears to my eyes every time, a truly chilling, and beautiful piece of music.

  • Yep, I feel powerful when listening to this.

  • and my fingers are itching when i listen to it, just like i want to draw something

  • Makes the hair on my neck stand on end - Ennio is a True Maestro.

  • One of the most awsome moments in one of my favourite movies of all time. Sigh... they just don't make them like this any more.

  • They can't make them like this anymore....can they??

  • there is some family resemblance.... naturally between a brother and a sister...

  • Just beautiful. A true genius. hank you so much for posting this>

  • yep, its all worth it :)

  • Good to see people enjoying this. Thanks again for the views

  • I really like Ennio morricone!!

  • i think this movie might be better than the ones that preceded and followed it.

  • I think this movie is the best movie Clint Eastwood ever performed in and alot better than most crap hollywood has released in recent years.

  • So beautiful... So haunting and yet loving at the same time... People don't compose music like this anymore. So sad...

Great movie by the way. My favorite western movie of all time.

  • Yep yep, thanks everyone WELL WORTH IT!!!

  • A Legend!!! Ennio Morricone
