Saks Fifth Ave changed their holiday display for the 2010 season. I like what they did with the projectors and the quasi 3D effects. It's a great first try, but overall the show felt too short even though it's roughly the same length as the previous show. See for yourself and make your own opinion.

The creators of the new display "iris Worldwide" titled "The Snowflake and the Bubble" have posted a high quality video on youtube already so you'll have to find theirs and view it.

This music, I think, has been dubbed over from the original mp3. The sound quality when you are there is pretty good but not this good! They normally allow you a legal download of the music for a limited time at the start of the Christmas period.

The video is great. There's nothing like seeing it live though - very impressive when you're watching it from the street. And it's not just one show, but many repeated shows every few minutes during the night. If anybody's coming to NYC for Christmas, you've got to check it out. (And thanks for the video!)
