i checked jawbreaker and indeed i saw the classify as emo or indie punk, but still in my mind i just cannot put placebo or even jawbreaker to that category ,.. seems wrong to me:P

A REAL artist actually WRITES his own material, he doesn't only HELP, he WRITES it by himself or with the help of his fellow band members. That's the way things work. Anyway, its about the song, not only the singer. He indeed has a unique voice, interesting but not great. It's the music that makes this song good.

A REAL artist actually WRITES his own material, he doesn't only HELP, he WRITES it by himself or with the help of his fellow band members. That's the way things work. Sure they can be artists, but they are still only performance artists because most of their stuff is written by corporate hired composers.
