Pee-Wee's Playhouse is the most underrated program for children from the 80s. Couldn't have gotten any better. Sesame Street and The Muppet Show came close, but they couldn't surpass Pee-Wee. In fact when this aired back on my local CBS station years ago, the spin-off of The Muppet Show, The Muppet Babies aired right before Pee-Wee did. That's how I knew Pee-Wee, all thanks to The Muppet's. Sesame Street, The Muppet's, and Pee-Wee were big parts of my earliest times of my childhood.

Amazing show. 10 million people watched this every Saturday morning. It won more emmys than it had episodes at one point. They don't make anything at this quality level anymore. Not without the majority of it being animated on the computer at least.
