There are criticisms to be made of Thompson's same-sex marriage proposal but "It's too darn federalist" shouldn't be one of them -- at least not from a conservative.

So Fred likes marriage but he wouldn't lift a finger to protect it just like he believes life begins at conception but Federalism is more important. There is a candidate with integrity and sanity - Huckabee.
