What is up with all the construction? My family used to live in Jonesville. I saw the bridge last year, half finished. Is it complete now? Are they widening all of 84 through town? Is that good news for Jonesville, or bad?
Q93 is NOT the #1 rock station here. It just plays mainly whats "in' if that makes any sense. It plays hip-hop, pop, rock.. You know. Just the popular music. But they do throw in old songs just like every other radio station.
lol. this takes me back. the kids call it crusin now a days but in the 70's and 80's we called it looping. cause thats what we did we make a big loop from the shopping center (keith marines) the go down to the bridge (where you first came in to jonesville) and go back again. thanks for this. wow things have not changed that much. lol.
Lol. We still call it "loopin'".. I've never heard anyone call it cruisin.
But they dont really loop around town anymore..We just kind of go wherever in town. But my mom said that is what they used to do.. go to keiths then back around to where champlins furniture is.
they are done with construction now..lol.. and the old bridge went up in smoke

I am from there too. I haven't been down for over a year now. I don't miss it at all though. It is still so small and unchanged there.

looping...spent too many nights doing that in the 1970s - what a waste of time....grew up there, but don't miss it.
Give me Los Angeles or anywhere ELSE any day of the week.

The last I was up there (a month and a half ago) Chittlins was closed...I wonder if they are/have reopened yet?

Wow. nice videos. Haven't been back to J'ville in over a year. BHS class of 93, and yeah i remember looping very well.
