The Nu metal fad annoyed me.. it was alot of skilled musicians putting so much heart, but absolutely no soul or mind into their music. Such a waste of what coulda have changed... No... DEFINED America of it's day. I think it killed all it's related genre's.. it had no appeal to lovers of music as a whole, and only appealed to those who wanted to join it, or the ultimate headbanger. In other words, it couldnt replace other forms of music, with no variety or wide range it was doomed to fail. Sad..

Have you ever listened to death metal at all? lol. Because that's exactly what people say who don't know anything about it, because that's what other people tell them. I once used to say it too, that metal is just some random noise etc. But it isn't, I know now. Some is, but most isn't. It takes a lot of talent and skill to play music like that. Often enough they do have rhyme, and if not that's even better. A song doesn't HAVE to have rhyme you know.

RMV is their deepest album, you're right. It was hard for me to choose a favorite album by them but this takes the cake for me. From Re-Entry all the way to Drown every track has true meaning and has helped me just find myself in a way. Limp Bizkits music will never die for me even if they never do come back. Plus Fred is a vocal genius... he helps me write better... LB is inspiration for me.
