You should try keeping the camera angle a bit lower. I couldn't see what you were doing with your eyes sometimes. Thank you for these basics because I absolutely fail at this style.

@makeupD0LL i think everytime i try to put them on i put it on too thick. My hands get to shakey. Even though the liquid one is faster to use it is the trickiest. Maybe i should just use the pencil instead? u kind alook like nikki minaj a little btw.

@TheDawnmirage yea pencil eyeliner is more forgiving, but it's harder to make a wing with the pencil liners.

@cowpjsrock yes! and i don't ever use gel eyeliners alone...they have to be set with a powder product if you would like to use them as a base.

man that loreal intensitfy dries up super quick i left the top off for a half of day and it has been all bad every since even when i sharpen it Omg and so does the liquid eyeliner from MAC blacktrax same thing left the top off and ruined it I learned my lesson

@jamiaakamia used a liquid liner with a felt-tip like she was talkin about. maybe like maybelline stiletto eye liner. it's better for beginners. trust me. it'll take only half a year to master the skill of winging ur liner if u use that liner :-))

I got that NYC liquid eyeliner! I agree with the difficulty of that brush that comes with it. I had to practice how to maneuver it effectively, but once u get the method down, it's a damn good eyeliner.

Wow! Great tutorial. A lot of others on YT didn't include the part about lining the bottom lash line & going upwards towards the eyebrow to help form the 'wing' which seems like a very important technique to use in order to achieve that perfect cat eye look. They made it seem it was created by free-hand. This way is much easier. I was doing it all wrong all this time.... til now ;) Thanks!

I like the Maybelline better than MAC's gelliner. It's just so smooth and nice and easy to work with and doesnt smugde AT ALL!!... I just dont think MAC gelliner is better than Maybelline but i DO love them both :)
