It´s not that I´m against yuri, is just that I couldn´t find good stories, with the exeption of marimite it´s so cute and eventhough it´s too corny I was shocked with the 11 episode, it´s really amazing. However I´m open to recomendations n_n
@aleja087 I agree :( It's so hard to find good yuri, because it isn't really popular...I recommend Simoun, though. It's the one yuri I've seen that actually had an amazing plot and great character development. :)
@DaisukeKenSama thanks, many people have told me about Simoun, it seems like a great anime, I´ll see it and then I will told you what was my opinion about it. Although there is something in which a keep a distance in what you have said. Do you really think that yuri is not a popular genre? the fetish of a relationship between girls is always gonna sold.
@aleja087 Yes, but that's just it - it's more of a "fetish." Most of its fanbase calls for porn/ecchi. They aren't as interested in heartfelt, romantic stories between two girls. They care more about the sexual aspects. So there aren't as many GL anime just based on two characters falling in love and growing as characters. Or at least that's how I've always seen it. ^^; But anyway, I hope you enjoy Simoun! :)
I´m a yaoi fangirl but many of my friends said that we could find good histories also in yuris. With many doubts I started to see the genre and I couldn´t find good stories such as zetsuai for example. I saw this anime -strawberry panic- but I coudn´t find a good argument just fanservice (Shizuka-sama is one of the gorgeous character that I found, just phisically).
i've watch this anime four times and i just got the box set and im working on my fifth time teehee favorite anime
